I go in for my weekly appointment this morning and I'm really hoping things have progressed-last week i was dialated 2.5 and 70% effaced and I know that doesn't really mean anything but would love to be dialated more today just so I feel like something's happening :mrgreen: My dr. also stripped my membranes last week without success so she will probably do it again this morning-I did a lot of research this past week on stripping and being gbs + and I'm ok with her doing it again so I'll have to talk to her about it. I really want my little man to make his appearance soon and my dh is driving me nuts, he keeps calling me from work asking if I'm having contractions (he just wants to take time off of work so he can play hockey :rolleyes: ) I'd love some progressive/labor vibes today :goodvibes: sara

Well I'm dialated to a 4.5-this kid might just fall out :giggle: My dr. said he is so ready to go-perfect position, effaced etc. She stripped me again and I've been having contractions 10-12 minutes apart since then, hopefully they'll continue and get closer! sara

4.5!!! That's so exciting! You're more than halfway there! Can't wait to hear an update & see some baby pictures!

Yahoo! been having contracts again myself- but they are tappering off again... AUGH but I go in tonight- wish I had an earlier appointment- but she was booked until 5 p.m.- so goes the waiting game....

Good luck, mama...after sitting in my drs office for 3 hours today the only thing he said was that the baby is way down low...ummmm yay no duh! LOL He was checking me and couldnt "reach" my cervix, so he didnt want to make me anymore uncomfortable and left it at that! Heh
Not much longer now...I have 20 days left til my DD

Well, I'm still here-contractions now they're just under 10 minutes and don't stop even if I lay down but are still mild, I'm frusterated that they're not getting closer, my dh is taking Thursday off and I'm going to walk alot and try to get the dumb things closer-tempted to use a bit of caster oil at this point (my sister swears by it) but might try nipple stim. first :headscratch: sara
