I'm Shelby, 22 turning 23 on May 17th, SAHM to my 20 month old son Dominick and expecting our second boy sometime this month; EDD May 31st. I'm engaged/common-law married to the love of my life Chris. We bought our first home together in March of 2006 and look forward to the rest of our lives together! He works for a drilling/rig company, so he works alot, but still makes time for his family and takes great care of us.
I started CDing my son when he was about 6 months old, but gave up until he was about 15-16 months or so. I've since built a HUGE, BEAUTIFUL stash, and am looking forward to CDing a newborn.
Baby should be coming in the next week to two weeks, so hopefully I'll be able to start using my NB dipes and showing off pics!
Can't wait to hear about all the mama's and their babies! I sign on a MILLION times a day hoping to hear some news or see some pics! COME ON BABIES!!!

hi mamas! adriana-great idea! like shelby said-i'm on here so many times a day-and i'm so excited for all of us-it's like i already know you mamas-but then i realize, i have no idea who these people are! :giggle: :goodvibes:
anyways, i'm anne. i'm 30, i'm trying trying to finish up my semester(should be finishing a paper right now!) i'm working on my masters in elem education.
:lostit: and my husband works like crazy and is graduating from college on saturday!! :ohyeah: so proud of him :loveit: we have an AWESOME 4.5 yr old, holden. he's just the sweetest and has been so patient with how much play time with his mommy that he's losing out on right now.
our baby's due dates are 5/26 and 5/28, but by his in utero measurements, he's 40 weeks!! i'm PRaYING i go early!!!
we didn't cd with holden and i SO regretted letting people talk me out of it. dh and i are really psyched about cd'ing. all around, brock(my dh) and i are much more firm in what we believe/feel and we're doing our best to not let people sway our decisions on things. like me and this vbac-i know i have to just shut out other's opinions and let my body work.
i can't wait to see all of our little babe's soon!!!! :goodvibes:

Well, I guess I'm the first old fart (LOL) at 37. Little Ian was induced on April 23 and was 8 lbs 3oz 21.25" long. He has two older sisters, almost 4.5 and 2.5 who are adjusting well to having a baby bro. It helps he is a very tolerant, low maintenance baby! I've been a SAHM since I was PG with #2, but I was in graphic desgn/marketing before that. We live in the Dallas area of Texas and Ian is the first baby to be CD'd, tho both girls use or used cloth trainers. Hi everybody! - Cheryl

Hi! Nice to finally meet everyone!
I'm Ali, 28, married to Don, 37. We live in central PA and have a darling 16 month old daughter, Grace Marie. It is funny we call her Grace but whenever I introduce her to others I always include her middle name because I think it sounds so pretty. ;) We are expecting our second on May 31. The due date was determined solely from an early ultrasound. So we shall see how accurate it is. So far I have been measuring right on with that due date or a little under.
This pregnancy was even more of a surprise than our first! I was still bf'ing when we conceived #2. I just happened to 'feel' pregnant and took a test. I was also on the pill...so it was a huuuge shock! Even though it was an unexpected pregnancy, we are really excited and looking forward to this new little one's arrival. We don't know the gender, however, because LO didn't cooperate at the 20 week scan. It just makes me even more excited! We already have names selected but have held off on telling anyone. I want to wait until I meet this little one before I say for sure what the name will be.
I've mostly been a SAHM since our daughter was born. When she was about 4 months old I started working a few nights a week at my old job to get out of the house and add a little bit to our income. I originally had planned to go back to work full time after she was born, but after being home with her 24/7 for the first few months I didn't like the idea of putting her in daycare. Working a little each week was enough for me being away from her! I'm just happy that we are able to work it for me to be home with our children.
I'm relatively new to cloth diapering, but am loving it! I finally started three months ago and would never go back to disposables again! It is so convenient not having to keep track of when to buy diapers. Plus diaper rash is non-existent. I'm a little nervous about cloth diapering a newborn but also really looking forward to it.

Hi! I'm Natalie from IL, 31 years old and married to DH (a meteorologist) 7 years (he's 36). We have an almost 5 year old, a two year old and third one is due May 30th. I have gestational diabetes and so I won't go over that day. I taught third grade for one year, was an elementary librarian for one year, and have been a SAHM since #1 was born. I started cloth diapers when #2 was 16 months.

I know exactly where that is! ;) I grew up in the little town of Weatherly. If you have never heard of it, it is situated between Hazleton and Jim Thorpe. My brother actually went to Bloomsburg University. He graduated a couple years ago. Small world.

Hi ladies,
Nice to get to know you better! My siggy pretty much says it all! We're still waiting on baby#2 obviously - sometimes I feel like it could happen anytime, and other times like it will be days, weeks, even! We can't wait to find out if this baby is a boy or a girl!
I have been here on DS since shortly before my first DS was born and this is pretty much the only forum I go on regularly. I just can't keep up with more than one!
A funny thing about my DS#1 - he has just started to go on the potty quite a bit! It has been SOOOO nice to have less diaper duty - toddler poops are so much less gross in a potty than all over a bottom! He prefers the big potty, too, so even though we have to help him get up on it, at least there's no dumping from the little potty bowl to have to deal with. I can't believe he's already interested in PL'ing at 20 months, but we did sort of do EC for a while starting around 6 months. Anyhow, it's good timing with baby #2 coming so soon, as for a while there I thought I was going to have to be doing diaper wash every night to avoid an overflowing pail! Hopefully the trend continues  - and hopefully I can keep up with the potty opportunities!
Good luck to everyone as we all get closer - I can't wait to hear everyone's news :goodvibes:
