:hugs:

We found out we are due December 23rd (tenatively). I also found out that medicaide require my birthcertificate before they will process my application for coverage. I had both my kids under medicade without my birthcertificate before so I am confused as to why I need it now. Anyone else found this problem? :banghead: First I had to wait 3 weeks before I could get an official test done, now I have to wait however long it takes to get my birthcertificate (it was lost in a move). I'll be out of my first trimester before I see a doctor! Tips to do to make sure the baby is ok until I see a doctor is appreciated. I'm drinking tons of water and walking each day, eating as well as I can with all the cravings I have had for odd things (I always get them early).

It is a new law that medicaid has set forth. what a PITA..like we all have our BC handy. But you do what you gotta do :)

Most docs don't actually see you until you are at the very end of your first trimester anyway..so I wouldn't worry about it. Take you prenatals..drink plenty of fluid and you should be fine. I didn't see a doc until I was well into my 2nd trimester with my 1st..pregnancy was great and baby was healthy.

Congratulations and I am glad you could join us.

With my first two I found out I was pregnant at about 5 weeks, got the official test done at 6 weeks and saw a doctor by the time I was 9 weeks. First trimester ends what at 12 weeks? I guess you are right then but then I am now 9 weeks along. Everything I ever read said get in as early as you can to see the doctor. That way if it is not pregnancy but a health condition it can get caught early.
