I've been getting AF like cramps since about 2 days before my BFP. They were getting better the last two days but seem to have set back in this afternoon. The cramps feel like they're located mostly right in the middle of my lower abdomen. I've read on here that cramping can be normal as long as there is not spotting - so far no spotting. I guess I just am looking for someone to say it's nothing to worry about at this point...

I haven't had much cramping, but I did have one night that it actually woke me up. I was expecting to go to the bathroom and have major spotting, but I didn't. It went away, and I've just had minor "period" feelings. I haven't had any spotting either, not even after my pap smear and the Dr. said I would. I'd say you are fine...I think our uteruses are just expanding and pulling on things in there.

Thanks for the reassurance. I know I shouldn't worry so much, but I tend to be a worry wart even normally!

I have gotten cramps with all my pregnancies, I almost feel like I am about to start my AF. My doctor says that it is just everything getting situated in there.HTH

I have had some minor cramping, any little feeling I freak out too (3 miscarriages before). It is normal to be worried. I just sit down and try to relax...I know that sitting doesn't help, but in my mind it does! :) No spotting is a GREAT sign. With it being your first pregnancy, I would guess there would be more moving around and adjusting down there!

Thanks mamas! I think I might drive myself crazy if I didn't have someone to check in with. Thanks for helping make me feel better.

Mine was so bad I thought something was wrong. It started around th same time yours did. It was bad enought that I couldn't stop thinking about it. No spotting. Everyone here said it was ok. I called my ob to make an appointment. She said if it were a m/c or tubal I would be bent over in pain and know it. She said no spotting is the best kind of reassurance. But spotting can be normal. Mine lasted like a week, then poof, it was gone. Lots of people get it. Relax, take a deep breath. you will be alright. It is hard not to dwell on it. I know. Good luck mama. (I wanted to add, mine was in the same place as yours.)

I had cramps the first week with dd and with this one too. The first time I didn't realize I was pg because I had cramps and kept waiting for AF.

I had cramping with my Ds and I do with this one as well. thats actually one of the things that made me think I was pregnant because I have been getting cramps for 2 weeks now. I would say they are not as bad as normal AF cramps because I get super painful cramps. Its more like a dull achy cramp that is there most of the day.

Very common:) I have them too, although not as bad as I did a week ago, I think I heard it is your uterus growing and getting ready.
