Anyones older children ever correctly predicted the gender/#of babies?? My dd (3 1/2yo) told me yesterday that there are two in there, and one for sure is a girl :giggle: :giggle: Whats your experience?

no, but I will tell you a funny story. My sister was 2 and the docs told my mom I was a boy. My sis kept arguing with my mom and said " You'll see she's a girl when she comes out." My mom packed a hospital bag with boy coming home clothes. Well when I was born a girl and she was about to leave the hospital, she went digging through the bag and there at the bottom of the bag, my sister had stuffed a tattered girl sleeper with a hole in the foot under all my mom's boy clothes. When my mom came home my sister told her," ya, I put it in there mom. My sister was going to need girl clothes. She told me she was a girl." too cute. the story is in her baby book and mine too.
My kids really never guess.

I am not really sure...but look at these fortune cookies from Saturday...
I am putting that picture up there because the first two (yes she had two fortune cookies) were Josie's, the next was mine and the last was my Mom's kinda freaky!

Well, for our angel baby my oldest told me we should have a baby for his birthday (he didn't even know we were pg), but then decided no it should be the day AFTER his birthday, so that I would be home for his birthday party.:giggle:
I was due the day after his birthday.
I do not know how he does that.:headscratch:
He is 7 BTW.
Now he is saying there are two babies, and that I just do not know yet.
Time will tell.

I am not sure, but my son have been calling this his "baby sister" since before we found out. Even before we told him about it he laid on my tummy and said "Mommy, I want my baby sister." I responded with "I;m working on it sweetie"
Now everytime he asks me where his baby sister is I'll say "She'll be here in 8 months" and he looks at me and says "You working on my baby sister, Mommy>?"
He is so cute!

When Alex was 3 she started asking for twin baby sisters. When she was 4 and had 2 sets of id twin girls in her preschool class she started saying “WHEN are you going to have my twin baby sisters?” It was another year before we got pg. We kept telling her you can’t choose the sex and it’s definitely NOT going to be twins.
The girls are now almost 4yo and it still totally freaks me out that she was right for all those years.
After we found out they where twin girls ODS started praying for a baby brother. We LOL at him because we where done with 3 and got a bonus baby! Where we ever surprised when we discovered b/c failed and we where pg again! Yup a boy.
So this time we asked the kids what they think the baby is.
Alex- triplet girls
Ender- triplet boys
Aeryn- Lots of boys and girls
Ashe- 2 boys and a girl
(I really hope they are ALL wrong!!)
Asterix- 2 babies
Since I’ve been having dreams for a year of twin boys and triplets (2b 1g) I’m a bit worried those predictions could be right!! It would be cool and all but we already have 5 kids!

Megan is not old enough to tell me, I dont even think she knows the difference between boys and girls, lol.
on a side note, I told her the other day that there was a baby in my belly. She looked at me, lifted up my shirt, put her hands on her cheeks, and said "oh no"

My oldest told us our third was a boy. I just knew it was a girl since I already had two girls. She would get really upset if you tried to explain that it could be a girl, well at the ultrasound we had a little boy. She is really good with stuff like that. I let you do all my scratch offs from fast food places. She wins everytime!! I think I may pack her up and go to Vegas!! :giggle2:

We're pregnant with our first, but I do daycare in a school. I was sitting on the floor a couple months ago playing blocks with the 4 year old boy I had that day. Usually he makes really good eye contact and can keep a conversation a long time, but this day, out of nowhere he says "I think you're gonna have a baby". Well I hadn't told anybody (including my boss who was sitting on the other side of the room!) and so I said "really? why do you think that?" and without looking up, he said "No. Two babies. Yes, two." So, I asked him again "why do you think that?" and he looked up at me and said "huh? what?". He didn't even know he was talking to me!
I told his mom last Friday what he had said, and she told me "Oh, if he says it's twins, it is. He does that all the time, his big sister does too. Let me know when you have them".
Yeah, I have twins on both sides of my family! We won't find out for atleast 6 more weeks!

Love those Chinese fortunes!
When my now 17 yr old son was 3 he told me he was going to have a little sister like Pebbles (he had been watching a lot of the Flintstones). It was quite a surprise when several weeks later I discovered I was indeed pregnant and later found out it was a girl.
When my now 9 yr old dd was 3 she kept telling us there was a baby in my tummy and it was her sister. A couple weeks later we found out we were expecting and we were told by 2 doctors that it was a boy. Not true it was a girl.

Ok, I'm not preggers at the moment (I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the near future!!), but I had to say that my son was absolutely right. When we told him we were having a baby, he said, "Oh! A sister for ME?!" When we explained that the baby could be either a girl OR a boy, he said, "Well, maybe, but THIS baby is a girl. I'm going to have a sister!" (He was 2 at the time) He NEVER changed his opinion, not once. He was so adamant that I found myself believing him! :giggle: Everyone would say to him, "I bet you hope it's a boy, huh?" He would say quite firmly, "No! I'm having a sister." On the day of the u/s, the tech asked me what I thought we were having and I told her our son was certain the baby was a girl. She said, "He's absolutely right. It's a girl!" He now says that he's ready for more siblings and this time he wants twins. He's SURE the next time we have a baby we'll be having TWO! LOL I'm a little scared...:giggle:

I have a 3 (almost 4) year old sister who likes to touch my belly and feel the baby. She put her hand up there a couple weeks ago and said, "I feel HER!" I told her I may have a little boy in there, and she said, "No, it's a little girl. Here's her hand, right here."
A few days ago, she felt again and said that she felt her again. I said, "Are you sure it's a girl?" She looked at me so seriously and said, "Well, the front one is, the one in back is a boy." Then she held up 2 fingers and said "There are 2 in there."
Now, I am having dreams that I am having two!

My daughter told me I was having twins but it turned out to be a single. She's 3 for 3 on the genders though. :)
