I've been having trouble sleeping as of late and was wondering if other mamma's are reaching the stage where they get up in the middle (or past middle) of the night and wander around the house/read a chapter in a book. It usually starts out as a pee but then i just end up staying up for a bit. My DH usually wants to kill me because i'm sitting there with a little reading lamp so I usually end up coming on DS until I feel tired enough to sleep again. I assume this will be going on until the end but i actually forget if this happened last time.

I used to fall asleep in under 5 minutes but now I have so many things going through my mind it seems to take forever to fall asleep now. I do have to say those middle of the night pees are the only "real" ones I have anymore. I must have went to the bathroom every hour yesterday! My little girl is getting lower and sitting right on my bladder!
But for now, I can still sleep. I am always dreaming of her or the labor though:)

Yup. I don't wander though I usually just let my mind race, and think of all the things I need to do. Or whatever.

I just can't get comfortable most of the time. It's really starting to annoy me. :giggle:

I can't sleep either :banghead: By around 1 or 2 I'm in desperate need of a nap and can barely function. I have to pee everyon 1-2 hours and my mind is thinking about needing to get the oddest things done. Last night I couldn't sleep b/c my mind was stuck on needing more pp mama pads and so then I kept making them in my semi-sleep state.

I'm feeling the need for the nap now. I had dreams about giving birth after i finally went to sleep after sitting there thinking about diaper covers for about half an hour. Right now I almost feel like I have a lack of sleep buzz.

I keep having daydreams and dreams at night about this baby coming unassisted and DH not believing me! It goes something along the lines of me being in labor, but we think we have a long while so he goes to bed and I go into the bathroom. I decide to take a bath to help out and start to push and start yelling at him, but he's asleep so he ignores me and the baby comes. It was weird at first b/c she was so blue and didn't cry for a little bit, but my MW showed me a video of water births and that is just how they come out, blue and they don't cry right away b/c it isn't as traumatic. Very odd, b/c I had no clue when I first had the dream :)

I normally am an insomniac but since I became PG, I can fall asleep in a nano-second :giggle:

Now, on the off chance I cannot sleep or wake up in the middle of the night and cannot fall back to sleep again I will take one of three things that is safe for PG: Hyland's Calms (homeopathic), Valerian Root or Skullcap.

I'm off to dream land in no time :)

No way, I'm so tired all I want to do is lay in bed. Honestly, how pathetic, but the first thing that goes through my mind when i get up in the morning, is how many hours before I can go back to bed. Sad.

I think that too but it's more like "I am sooooooooo making DD lay down with me later" :giggle:
