Just what the question asks. I'm thinking of between 6 months and 2 years old.

I bathe my 2 year old everyday, since forever. Before it was just a habbit/routine, now he really needs it! My 4 mo. old gets a bath every other day. I can't wait until he's older so I can bathe them together, that would be so much easier!

Right now my 6wk old only gets bathed when its needed. He has super sensitive skin. My 4yr old gets a bath minimum every third day, but with summer coming it tends to be every day.

It depends on what time of year it is. Winter, every other day. In the summertime, it's usually every day since we're outside a lot of with sunscreen on , swimming, playing hard and sweating, etc.

I voted everyday. The only reason that is, is it's part of her bedtime routine. She's been doing it since about 4-5 months old and is now almost a year, so it's really important for us as far as bedtime goes.
Otherwise, I'd probably do it every 3-4 days before they are mobile. Now, probably every other day, although with the sticky summers and all the stuff she gets into, it should be every day.
god knows I don't bathe daily! lol.

We live in a super-dry climate and my girls tend to get dry skin easily so at the most, I give them a bath every other day. Then they have to get slathered with Aquaphor to re-hydrate their skin. Poor things. In the winter its even less since the air is drier. Its crummy in the summer since we have to put on sunscreen and they play outside, but their poor skin can't handle it. Even going to the swimming pool can be too much.
I have an almost 4 year old and a 2 1/2 year old.

We may skip a day here and there, but for the most part it's every day for our 2 year old.

:yeahthat: Same with us, except I usually try and shower with both my girls instead of giving two baths all the time

I chose twice a week and when I really have to, because, all my kids (^months-4.5 yrs) get baths on wed and sun unless otherwise needed. recently it's been ALOT more often for the older ones, more like every other day to every day. They've been playing in the dirt everyday, so unless they are so tired I don't think they can handle a bath (which happens to the 3 yr old sometimes) then they've been getting a bath, but the baby usually twice a week.

We do every third day under normal circumstances. I work every third day so this schedule works out well for us. And anything more often flairs up his eczema.

I give my 3 year old a bath about every 3 or 4 days. She suffers from eczema, so its best I keep it to a minimum. Unless of course she's really dirty. I'm sure with summer coming up, it'll be more often since we'll be hitting the beach and such.
I bathe my 4 month old about every 2 or 3 days. She doesn't get very dirty. :giggle:

We try for every 2-3 days. Sometimes though the LO's just can't handle it. Too tired or having a bad day. DS who is 2 1/2 hates to get his hair washed to that's about as often as I can handle the screaming at me to do it. Any tips on how to avoid the screaming would be great!

DD, 17.5 months, generally gets baths twice a week, usually on Wednesdays and Saturdays unless we have a really dirty day (and we go outside most days). Generally I just wipe off dirty hands, faces, and feet on other days. Food in the hair gets wiped off, and brushed out. In the summer time there maybe a few more baths, but personally don't think its good for LOs skin to be bathed daily.

It depends. In the winter my kids can go almost a week without one. They both get excema so less is better.
In the summer when they are outside and getting dirty it can be every day, just depends on how dirty they get. Sometimes I give them a bath just to kill some time before bedtime if they are driving me nuts. :giggle:

I take DD in the shower with me every other day. She loves it! Plus, I find it gets her hair cleaner than having a bath.
This past week we've been dealing with a nasty virus (or teething? How to tell the difference, I'll never know), so she's been getting showers whenever baby wipes will no longer tackle the job. ::sigh::

Anything more frequent than once a week and Oscar's eczema would go bonkers. I do wash his face, hands, and heiney with a warm washcloth every day, though.

who voted once a month? that must be a joke
E gets a bath every few days, or sooner if needed. He has dry skin like me so more baths would not be good. I'm sure in the summer he'll be bathed more like every other day.

My 15 month old gets one about every 3rd day. If she gets really sticky or dirty eating, sometimes its easier to throw her in the tub and wash her down really quickly. I try to only use a small amt of soap bc she has eczema too. My 5 yr has to everyday. Shes a little dirt monkey.

Um, way less that I should. They used to have skin problems and problems keeping thier temps up when they were little so we just got into the habit of rarely bathing them. Now we get so busy that we only do it once or twice a week.

We shower- especially since DS broke the bath tub- who knew a 16 month old could do so much damage in a month? this wasn't the only incident. Anyway, but we shower almost everyday. We do forget sometimes though.

every day. I can't stand the concept of him being in bed dirty. Now that itr's summer I have to get the bug spray and/or sunscreen off him, too. ugh. It's pretty much always been every day since he was very young. He loves it and it is a good transition for him. Now it's his mellow-out time.

It really depends. We never bathe them every single day though. They never get THAT dirty. We bathe them when they need it, which is probably once or twice a week. Between, they're getting wiped down after each meal, diaper change, etc, so its not like they're not clean! Plus, their skin is soooooo nice! Never oily and never dry... just perfect! :)

That's what we do to. I used to bath my 1st dd almost everyday, but when 2nd dd was born she had such skin problems and the only thing that helped was not bathing her much. They do get wiped down and lotioned up alot, so they are clean and smell nice.
