I have two purebred Boxers, and we can't keep them. :cry:
I know, forever homes.. we planned on it. But after Dad died, we are having to sell the properties quickly, and need to rent somewhere.. and nowhere around here will allow pets at all, much less big ones :cry: :cry: :cry:
Anyway, the details:
ONE: Male. Fawn. 15 months old. Neutered. Microchipped. Has papers.
ONE: Male. Reverse-Brindle. 2 years old. Not neutered or chipped. No papers.
Both are outside dogs, but are brilliant and could quickly be trained and adapted to indoor life. They are sweet, good with children, and have never even growled at anyone. They *are* big dogs, and playful, so sometimes they rare up on people when playing but are otherwise very gentle.
We would *love* to keep them together, so if they could go as a pair to a good FOREVER home, that would be perfect. If we have to split them up we will, but it's our last resort. :(
We will include a large crate, though it needs cleaned (it stays outside with them, they like to hide in it occasionally though mostly they stay on the porch) and it cost over 100.00 alone (I won't even mention how much the dogs cost :( )
We will also include NIP two tie out stakes with cables, which we bought planning to use for a BBQ so they couldn't bother guests :giggle: but we got rained out hehe
Any flea/heartworm medication we have left at this point will go with them also, as will any toys, treats, etc.
We hate to get rid of them, and wanted to sell them, but we really don't have the luxury of time here.. sadly, they have to go, and quickly.
If anyone is in the San Antonio area and wants to pick them up, we'd be happy to give them to a new happy home and family.
We are about an hour NW of S.A.
