Just curious....who is all having these B.H. contractions? I had several throughout the day yesterday and often lastnight. They've been coming off and on this morning too. I'm 34 wks now. Just wondered what you're all feeling?

I've been getting them pretty constantly now, I think they started a few months ago. Sometimes, I get them more than a few times an hour, and some are downright painful (like, I can't stand up straight). I mentioned them to my midwife and I'm supposed to lay down and drink water but that's not always an option with a 20 month old. They are much stronger this time around.... that's for sure.

ALL. THE. TIME.
If I'm on my feet, I'm getting them. And they hurt, and I'm exhausted.
Today, we did drive thru at bank 1, drive thru at bank 2, lunch at Chick Fil A, the library, and grocery store for milk. That did me in for the day....I took at two hour nap while DD slept, and left DS to his cartoons.
I barely got dinner on, did the kids baths, and called it good for the night. They hurt so bad at night. Usually I'm okay once I sit down, but once it gets past 9pm, it doesn't matter what I'm doing or how much water I drink. During the day they're the high, classic BH, but at night, they're low and crampy and I can almost feel myself dialating. Sometimes I can't even talk through them, they reach my back and thighs......ohhhhhh. But yeah, I just have to keep telling myself that this is practice for getting baby out. DD was just over 9 lbs and only took a few pushes and five minutes. Maybe this one will be the same.

I've had a few so far and it just felt like incredible gas pain. At first that's what i thought it was. Then it hit me.

I was having so many and so often that I scheduled an appt. today rather than waiting until tomorrow. Thankfully, it has only been false labor. No signs that baby is hurrying to get here yet, and I'm grateful! Not that I don't want to end this pregnancy, but I do want baby to get off to a great start if possible. I'm just 34 weeks.

It's weird though, my 4th child and the first time I remember B.H. like this. Usually I just start contractions, and then I'm in labor!

I have been getting them too, for a few weeks - not usually painful, but last night they woke me up at 2:30am and they were so painful I couldnt move. I asked the nurse today, and she said most likely it was lack of water! I was thinking that or on my feet too much yesterday! I am trying to get lots of cooking/freezing done!
