When can i introduce salad with lettuce, tomato, cuc etc?

my 8 month old has been eating cucumber since he started solids at 6 months... he doesnt like the wayy lettuce sticks to his mouth, lol... i imagine tomato is fine too, we served salad to the one year olds when i worked in a daycare

Does your DD have any molars yet? My DD doesn't have those yet, so her salads are pretty limited since she can't chew. She can eat lettuce but it has to be in small enough pieces and then she sort of swallows it whole or "chews" it w/ her front teeth. :giggle: I think the cukes and tomatoes would be OK, just w/o the peel.

yeah i think thats on you, try and see how she does. tomatos are good just that the seeds out.
