Today, while in Starbucks, the sweetest older gentleman said to me "Boy, you husband has bad timing!"
Of course I agreed and said we could have planned it better.
I have had other people say "You sure picked a bad time of year!"
I thought I would be fussy and not like people commenting on my big belly but I love it. The rumors are true, everybody loves a pregnant lady, especially when it is over 100F outside
what fun or not so fun things have you :preggo: ladies gotten?

One comment I got from a lady in the grocery store...
"Well, we all know what you've been doing"
I thought it was kind of rude.

People can be sooo rude! I try to laugh in amazement that they can say such things without thinking twice. :giggle2:
I get tired of these: "You Do know what causes this don't you?" "Haven't you guys figured this out yet?" etc... Followed up by my favorite, "You must be Catholic!" I finally turned to someone the other day and gave a fanatic, well, yes sir I am!
I'd like to respond to the "You do know what causes this don't you?" with a "Why yes, and apparently, it is a lot of fun!"

I didn't show forever and now I'm huge and I get the "It doesn't look like you're going to make it" or "Are you sure you're not having twins?" I always think about how much bigger I was w/ the boys.
Oh, and DH always tells people that it is just too much fun to stop :)
I always love how people comment on the heat and stuff, like as if I didn't notice!
Oh and DH's aunt commented the other day how I looked so much bigger than when she had seen me a few days ago. I told her it was the shirt I was wearing :giggle2:

DD1 was bor july 20th. This one is due July 29th. When people find that out they ask if we didn't figure out how that happened the first time. My SIL's b-day is July 25th all the grandchildren have july birthday's she's demanded that hubby and I stop DTD from Sept-Nov. just to ensure that the next one is not born in July.
Then of course there's the random lady at the grocery store that I keep running into(she works there) who swears I'm having twins and asks me everytime I'm there when I'm going to have them. Then she starts scolding my daughter about being to clingy and that she's going to have to get used to not having so much of my time.:yuck:
I could do without the unsolicited advice that I get from complete strangers. But the thing with my SIL I think is absolutely hilarious.

I have received the "you aren't going to make it" comment about 10 times!!! It's like they have never seen a pregnant lady before. I was joking around at the ob office that at least i don't have to tie shoes b/c i can wear sandles.

My pedi told me that I need to be more careful in october :giggle: But that is because I will have 3 boys all born in July so apperently we cant have girls in July :giggle: She also asked me if I was going to have another to even it out. I dont get too many comments luckly. Just from ppl I know and well those are easy to ignore (im used to them) My mom is the worst with the comments she thinks someone should say to the duggars "dont you know what causes that" I just ignore those comments as much as I can.

Well, since I apparently don't look pregnant, I don't get any comments from strangers. Or special treatment.
But neighbors, people who know keep asking if we're done. And "when are you due again?" You so don't look pregnant." :banghead:
I just answer, "Oh, I sure feel like it though!"

Actually - none! I think I put off this "dont talk to me about anything baby or pregnancy related" vibe. And, certainly don't touch me.
With DD I got it ALLLLLLLLLLLLL the time. It was ridiculous.
A funny that happened at Target when I was pregnant with DD we were buying Baby Dreft and I was HUGE at this point and the cashier says "So, you're going to be washing baby clothes"! Um...no....I just like to have jugs of baby detergent for no reason. LOL

So Glad I am not alone! I don't look "that" pregnant so I don't get the comments. But trust me I feel miserable as little one is nicely tucked up in my torso and makes me uncomfortable.

I've gotten a lot of the "You'll never make it until July 19th". I just am carrying really low, and am a small person which makes the belly look huge.
I am doing a summer camp right now, and a 7 year old boy (he's really cute) said in the sweetest little voice, "I've noticed that you are going to have a baby very soon." That makes me smile b/c he was so polite about it.
