So after a bunch of "suggesting" from other moms I know I joined up. I just started cloth yesterday. Not too happy with my start up supplies (Dappi covers) but the cost of a less gentle diaper on my precious baby is the deciding factor.
BTW, My name is Bernadette. I'm mom to Bethany (6) and Maja (2 mos). I had fully intended on CDing my 6 year when she was small but the laundry cost wasn't worth it (we only had coin op machines). I had lots of issues with keeping the diapers on my first (no butt or rolls). Now, with my second, we have our won machine and she is a plumper baby though it took some time for her butt to sprout.
I could use a few trick for removing stains and how to launder the diapers. I know this board will be my saving grace.
I'm also interested in Baby Wearing, looking high and low for a mei tai or ring sling within my price range.
