I think this is what I am experiencing. All that I read online says that they are like regular contractions except they are painless. well I only had back labor with dd so I don't know what a regular contraction really feels like.
There will be times throughout the day that my stomach gets really tight and hard and I just feel really uncomfortable. Are these BH?
thanks,
Kelly

Most likely they are BH. I've been getting them for a few weeks now - it seems super early but Dr say's it's fine.
Mine are similar, my stomach gets hard and I have a little harder time breathing. they are uncomfortable too. Not fun!
Be sure you're drinking enough water (more than you think you need) I get them when I'm getting dehydrated or stressed out.

Yep, that sounds like BH contractions. I've been getting them this time since 11 weeks. They say you feel them earlier with subsequent pregnancies. I also had back labor so I have no idea what a "real" contraction feels like. I'm hoping ALL my contractions feel like BH contractions this time - haha!

I never had them with my first two pregnancies but if I don't drink enough water this time I get them.

I have them too. I always know when I have them too. It's like my uterus bunches up into a tight ball. It's my 4th and I do notice them more this time.

sounds like bh to me. I've been experiencing the same thing and I don't really recall having them, or being bothered by them, last time.

I have had an "irritable" uterus all along (this is my first) but I had really bad pains that would last up to 7 hours during my 5th month. I did not dilate at all, thank goodness. I asked the doctor about them and she said that the only difference between BH and real labor is dilation. She said that BH can be painful or not, but that as long as I am not dilating it is ok.

Holy Cow! I didn't realize that this is what was going on with me as well. I'm learning something new everyday!

I get them often. They are very annoying, I hate the way they feel. But yes, I do notice a bunch when I'm worried or stressed out, and water definitely helps!

I get them to. I can tell the difference because they are tolerable and when I change into a different position they go away. If it was a real contraction I think you might be hitting the floor in pain. (Or thats how I was lol)
