I totally forgot that Brooke has a store there. She is a Navy mom stationed here in SC. I have met her and her DS. She is part of our Mommys group. She holds CD and BW classes here.
She has an online store as well. OH and she is a mama on here as well !

Oh my gosh how cool!! I'm not in SA anymore but my whole family is and with a new little one on the way it will be so cool to be able to tell them that there is an actual store they can go to if they want to get some things, my mom and dad totally support our CDing, but she hate shopping online.

I just thought I would let you girls know that the Target at The Rim has the BumGenius diapers. There was only one left, so I guess someone besides me found them.

They were $17.95, I think that is the normal price right? They are the regular 3.0 not the all-in-one or the organic ones.

yea 17.95 is the regular price. im wanting to stock up on these and now i can tell my family to just get me gift cards to target rather than expect them to try and figure out which cloth dipes im wanting from other sites on the net. they are already wayyyyy too confused.

It was me! There were 4 there and I bought 3 for a friend of mine.. I left one - I think it was green :)
Oh and I went to Eden's Baby once when she had just opened, she was surprised I knew she was there.. She didn't have much yet but she was super sweet, she gave my DD a little lunch bag that she treasures :)

I saw that Target has started carrying cloth diapers online, but didn't know that the store at the Rim had them. Hope they get them again.
I have bought from gobabygoshop.com, and loved it. She was super helpful and accomodating. I've heard of Eden's Baby and have yet to make it over there to check it out. I definitely will now that I've read so many great reviews. Thanks!

There is also a store in New Braunfels called Full Circle Baby. The mama is really sweet and part of the local San Antonio AP group.
Another mama in my AP group mentioned that Eden's Baby is also considering changing locations to just outside 410, right off 281, to Artisan's Alley to be more accessible to the local mamas.
I love that the Target near me at 410/151 has everything and I keep checking every time I go just to make sure it's still there and buy it all up if if they ever try to clearance it.

Eden's Baby did move to Artisan's Alley (555 W. Bitters) they have a new phone number too 545.4872. She has a bunch of seminars including a cd workshop coming in January, but you have to rsvp. You can check out their calendar of events (edensbaby.com/index.php?l=page_view&p=calendar) to find out whats going on. Also, she does diaper parties and can do in home visits for those that need it. You just have to book it with her.

hi, thanks for the info. I will have to go check it out. I also know of a Mom in a local playgroup that sells cloth diapers and great detergent that takes out the stinkies. I use both and I love the soap. Her soap is called rockin green soap. She has a website too. You should check it out.

I have a few questions for you San Antonio ladies, since we are going to be moving there soon. :)
What are your cable and satellite choices there?
Do you have a choice in electric companies, and if so, what are they?
Do refrigerators and washers/dryers typically convey?
Dryers are typically electric (as opposed to gas), correct?
Do most neighborhoods have HOA's?
Are rentals allowing pets hard to find? We're hoping for a short term furnished rental while we look for a place to buy.
TIA!

Here are my answers for you:
What are your cable and satellite choices there?
Hm, I know there is Time Warner, Direct tv and at&t uverse.
There may be more. We have TW.
Do you have a choice in electric companies, and if so, what are they?
Not to my knowledge. We have CPS.
Dryers are typically electric (as opposed to gas), correct?
I believe so!
Do most neighborhoods have HOA's?
Hm... I'd say not most. Depends on where you live, obviously.
Are rentals allowing pets hard to find? We're hoping for a short term furnished rental while we look for a place to buy.
In my experience, yes! Our complex does not allow pets and most duplexes and whatnot that we looked at don't either.
Of course if they do allow pets you have to pay an outrageous fee.
I think you are talking about a house though, and in that case I have no idea.

Echo to the last post by Piece of Jest...
My neighborhood has an HOA. So yeah, depends on where you live. And some apartments have different cable companies. One place we lived had a deal with a smaller one and so we got a good deal. But I can't remember their name. I know they don't cover where we live now.

Thanks! It looks like we'll be leaving our washer and dryer then. Our dryer is gas.
FTR, I hate HOA's, so that's why I asked, lol.
I wonder what we're going to do about a rental if it is hard to find a place that accepts pets. It's so regional, you know? In CA everybody accepts dogs. Heck, people take their dogs to the mall in strollers! But in Montana, no one rents to people with pets. We're planning on buying, but we need a short term rental while we look.
Anyone know of any food co ops? It's really important to me. A milk delivery would be awesome, too!
