I had a test line yesterday morning that had me so convinced this was the month, and another on the same brand (Target) test this morning. Both very faint, but sort of getting darker or "appearing" after the time limit. Well, before I got my hopes up too much, I got online and found a ton of other ladies with these very blue evap lines. One of mine is so bright, I almost posted it yesterday for everyone to see. I'm glad I didn't, because AF decided to come for dinner tonight...old hag.:banghead:
thanks for the warning on the target tests. I'll stay away from those

I had a false positive with the target ones too...not a nice joke! After that I bought tests from the dollar store (no kidding, but after almost a year of peeing on sticks I needed to save $$$), I will never spend $10 on a test again!

:hugs: Sorry Hillary.That's just horrid.
I use their opks and have used their hpts before(but the pink dye ones).I liked them because the dye was so dark on them.
I'm noticing that Walgreen's brand tests used to be pink dye ones--now are blue--:banghead: Thanks for the heads up.
Kristin--:hugs: :hugs: :hugs: That totally would be devastating.

i mean...you know my whole schmeil about having a 'period' and then it not being that...
have you tried a diff test? those definitely look like more than evaps to me.

I know they do(!!),and I have taken a test every day for the last week. lol Internet cheapies to FRER. But my temp went way down today and major cramps starting. Yes, she's here. I guess it could have been a chemical. Ho Hum.

Oh man. That stinks. Seems like they just need to take those off the market. How obnoxious!

I agree, they are not very good tests. I have tested with them (experiment) during full blown AF and gotten nice blue lines. I dont use ANY blue line tests anymore.

Nope. I have done some experimenting with different tests. All throughout my cycles to see which ones would get evaps, which would be clear etc.
Almost all the blue line tests get evaps. after the 10 min. mark. But EPT and the Target brand blue line tests both get nice blue lines within the 10 min. that look like they could be faint positives. I will only use equates and FRER from now on. They dont get evaps and no wondering with them. It is usually pretty clear.

I don't know if anyone watches Good Morning America, but this week(don't know what day), they are going to be talking about the different at home tests. they are testing them so should be interesting to see. They are doing all sorts of them for more than just pregnancy, but I know those will be included. Maybe someone should email and suggest the Target brand pregnancy test just so they can get the word out about them.

I'm sorry this happened to you! :hugs: I kind of freaked out when I saw this since I had gotten my positive this weekend on the Target brand. I went right out to Kroger and peed on some more sticks at lunch. I know all of you understand that. Fortunately for my blood pressure, I did get positives with the other tests - I so wish you had too! Maybe the next cycle will be your lucky one - sending lots of :babydust: and maybe a few more for good measure: :babydust: :babydust: :babydust:
