Chicco Key Fit 30 v Chicco Key Fit?

What is the difference in these two? Is it just that the KF 30 goes to a higher weight limit? I see some other colors in the regular KF that I haven't seen in the KF30....

yep...just the higher weight limits. im not sure if the standard case on the kf differs from the kf30...but the kf 30 base is super easy to install and use. as well as the seat. i <3 mine...even it if was recalled days after i bought it :banghead:

I know what you mean about the recalls.....shortly after bought my two Britax Decathons they had recalls on them.....:banghead:

Thanks for the info on the chiccos! I am definitely getting these for our newbies, but I didn't even know there was a regular KF until I went searching around for colors :giggle:

The bases on the keyfit22 and keyfit30 are the same. IMO, the keyfit22 is just as good as the 30. My 6 month old is in 85% for weight, 96% for height and is just now outgrowing this seat. I actually just put it on Craigslist!

I have the KF 30 and I love it!

The KF 22 has a 29" 22# limit. The KF 30 has a 30" 30# limit. The bases are the same, but you can not use the 30 on the 22 bases. My dd is 33 1/2" and 27#(nakey) at 18 months and outgrew the KF 30 at 16 months. She outgrew most other 22# seats before 9 months.

Thanks for the info on the weights mamas.....I am thinking I will probably go with the KF30's to give us more time in between having to buy another two new carseats :thumbsup:

And less than one more week until we know whether we have b/b, g/g or b/g coming so I will have a better idea what color I want to get :)
