I had my first OB appointment today, since we will be delivering with a Midwife I wasn't too excited or worried about it but I was surprised by today.
Got there at 3:50...wasn't seen until 5:00pm! The OB was delivering a baby down the street.
First she asked when my DD weaned and I told her she was still nursing and she told me that they usually recommend Mothers wean in the first Trimester due to BFing interfering with estrogen. I let her know I will not be weaning, this is the 2nd pregnancy I will be nursing through and I am fully educated on the issue and know it is safe :mrgreen: she was surprised how much I knew :giggle2:
Then she told me that since I had 2 C-Sections she would want me to have another one...then she asked me how I felt about that (big mistake, lol) I told her I DO NOT want another C/S and there is no need for it and there is such a little risk it isn't worth mentioning...AGAIN she was shocked at the stats I spit out :giggle2: And said a VBA2C is a very real possibility which was SO SURPRISING to hear from an OB!
Anyway, all looks good and I got a picture of the bean! (s)he is right on track and you could see the head and see the arms and legs forming!! She gave me tons of different Prenatals to try because they always mess my belly up and I will see her in a month.
