I'm new to DS and new to CDing all together. I am in SW Iowa, Shenandoah. Just wondering if there is anyone else around here. I'm sure people will think I'm nuts, my family sure does. My DH works in Lincoln and we lived in Omaha untill november.

I used to live in SE NE. Auburn to be exact. I have 2 aunts who live in Omaha. I'm originally from NW IA. Now we live in SW MO. If I still lived in Auburn I would hang out with you!
ETA: I just noticed that you said that DH works in Lincoln. Wow that's a drive!

I grew up in Glenwood, IA! We played Shenandoah in our school sports. We even had a special cheer for our Shen games, but I won't write it here! :) All of my family is still in Glenwood. Growing up, I couldn't wait to get out of there. Now that I have been married to a military man for a while and kind of lived all over, I really miss it!!

um, he's actually almost done with his year of working there and then we're not sure. He works for the national guard, in nebraska...long story. He only drives a little over an hour, we used to live in Omaha, and its not a whole lot more of a drive. We're about 20 min from nebraska city.
iafrmgrl we didnt like you guys too much either lol Also are you at ft sill, we were there for four almost five years. DH spent his entire active duty career there actually, except for the year in iraq. How do you like it?

Hey I live in Peru Nebraska... I am a Cloth Diapering Mommy- And everyone thinks I am nuts too- my husband even did until I proved to him how much we save. I started taking $20 a week and putting it in a jar... and let me tell you- I think I am going on vacation!!

I live in Auburn....I wish we could move. I grew up here and it seems like not much has changed. There isn't much to do here, and you have to drive an hour in every direction to shop.

My dh works full time for 92nd troop command, i'm not sure exactly what that means, but maybe you do :) lol
