I have had some spotting on and off and my dr wants to make sure everything is okay and also wants to really date the pregnancy because my cycles were not regular. I am nervous because it is going to be a transvaginal ultrasound. My mom says I shouldn't have it done because I have been spotting and doesn't think having something poking around there is a good idea. Dr says it's fine, but I am sooo nervous! (I haven't spotted since yesterday afternoon) any advice? thanks!! I just don't want to go through another miscarriage. :cry:

:hugs: i am very nervous or our first appointment on the 8th... i will be 10 weeks... i have only had a blood test to confirm the pregnancy, i havent yet seen a doc.... so i am very scared also

oh and the dr also said he didn't want to do a pap in the 1st trimester because of the high risk of miscarriage...he's a new dr and just isn't making sense to me

I'm almost 10 weeks too.. the first visit is ALWAYS the most nerve-wracking. :hugs: Keep us updated.
