Alright, I know some of the lucky ones :giggle: are now holding their LO's and on their babymoon... where is everyone else and how are you doing? I know a few of you haven't posted in a few days and it always makes me wonder...
Well I'm still doing good minus the whole PUPPS thing :( (it wasn't poison ivy and it is over my whole body) Just hanging out and pretty much waiting to see what happens. I have a chiro appt this morning, but am not sure If I'm going to reschedual b/c it is DH's birthday and he is rained out from work...

Still waiting. Pretty crampy this morning but no real contractions. My next appointment is tommarow so we will see if i am dialated more than 2 and if i have efaced more. Crossing fingers.
Other than that going today for one more big grocery shopping day and then i should be set.

Headed to the ob this morning. Was 1-2cm last week and have had some strong BH contrax but other than that still waiting. :) My SIL came over yesterday and took me to the store and bought plastic containers for the baby's clothes then helped me organize the clothes and the closet! It was great! I am a little scared this time because I still remember what it was like after L&D with my ds. I had TERRIBLE afterpains so I am not looking forward to that!

I have a DR. appointment tomorrow but as of last week nothing is going on down there, closed up tight and she was sitting about an inch above my cervix. I felt her drop on Friday and I have ben have BH like crazy. Don't you all wish labor could just be a series of BH contractions, I can SO handle those:)
I am hoping things are starting but, I am really still 12 days away from my EED and this is my first so I am trying to plan on going over so I am not too disappointed.

Well, I'm still here as well. BH come and go. Lots of thick mucus:blush:
Other than that, nothing big that I can tell. I have my appt. tomorrow, so we'll see if I've progressed at all. Last week I was a definite 2 cm and 70% effaced; so I'm anxious to hear if I've changed. I'm in my 38th week; can't believe it's getting close:) :) I think I've gotten just about everything done on my list (although, it seems there is always something more). My eldest daughter has a bday party this Saturday and sleepover for herself; so she's hoping mom holds out until then. Ya know...priorities!:giggle2:

I'm still waiting it out with about 2 weeks left. I feel fine except for my back hurts if I am not on a chair with a back. I had to move my sewing location!! I had all the diapers organized but then i decided to move them to the changing table and move the clothes into the diaper area. I have alot of pelvic pressure as i call it and i had to keep stopping to sit down at the mall. It's getting to the fun part and I must admit that even up to this point this pregnancy (after the 1st month) has been a dream!!

39 weeks, I feel like I've been pregnant forever. It's so hot here today, I'm in the middle of cleaning the bathrooms and it's like doing aerobics I'm so out of breath. I have a midwife appt on thursday, I had her check my cervix last time - almost 2 weeks ago - and wasn't even a fingertip dilated. I don't think I'll bother this week. Doesn't matter really.
I'm still having tons of BH contrax but nothing else.

Jeez everyone knows how effaced and dialted they are and I can't find my cervix :( Oh well if I wasn't then I'd be upset anyways. Today is DH's birthday and tommorow is my Granny's birthday so she has been getting the "pretty please come out speech"
Lots of loose BM's and I feel all pukey today and some contractions but I bet they don't go anywhere.
Ok so where is Amberlina? I know she had her last appt. I know this is her first and wonder if she maybe had her baby...

Nothing much happening here. I feel a little crampy but that really is all. I have no idea if I am dilated/effaced. I really am too clueless to check myself and my MW don't do internals.
Just patiently waiting...I want to go this week though.

Totally kwym. Baby is definitely down but dont know about any dialation, etc. nothing as of LW - seems pointless to check - KWIM? She keeps moving lower and it;s a little scary at night. Feels like I have small boulders inside my pelvic area. youch!

I am 18 days out and yesterday I fell. I tripped going up the stairs and landed with the top step edge smashing right into my belly, my full weight. I freaked but the baby was moving and my water was intact and I wasn't bleeding so I paged my MW and waited what felt like forever for her to call back.
Of course DH had my car since his didn't start that morning, I had to wait in the 90 degree heat for a bus (none of my neighbors were home) to the parking lot to get my car to go the hospital for monitoring. I just kept reassuring myself that the baby was cushioned well and kept poking him to keep him moving do I didn't freak out.
Got to the hospital in record time considering there was a bus involved, only to be kept waiting 40 minutes in ante-natal for someone to get me. I would have completely lost it but I kept feeling the baby wiggle and it reassured me.
Of course he was fine, since the whole biological system is basically designed to keep him safe even if it kills me. But I am still freaked out and reeling. And of course now I am in weird pain that feels like I pulled every muscle in my stomach, as if being this pregnant weren't uncomfortable enough. I had to go and make it worse.
ugh.

39 weeks and 4 days and getting anxious!! No real contractions since last week, lots of BH, and the cramping and lower back pain started back up last night...kept waking me up! Ive had loose stools for over 2 weeks now, but they seem to be getting more frequent and more loose! Im soo ready to be done! Diapers and clothes are all washed and put away, and DH finally set up the co-sleeper! House has been deep cleaned so Im just keeping it picked and cleaned up and keeping up on laundry! Yesterday I was totally tired all day, got a pedicure and manicure and made a quick run to the store, but really didnt get anything else done. Today I need to wipe down the bathrooms, dust the upstairs, pick up the upstairs and vacuum up there. Then tomorrow Ill focus on the downstairs! Just trying to keep myself busy and moving! I still havent packed my bag...Ill wait for contractions to start for that!
Last Wed I was a fingertip dilated and 70% effaced, baby is head down, but cant decide if hes going to be engaged or float up...My next appt is on Friday (my due date) and Im really nervous about it because I know they only want me to let me go on my own until Monday! I am sooo hoping to go into labor on my own before then!

37 weeks today. I woke up in the most excruciating pain I've ever felt this pregnancy yet. I SWEAR I did not hurt this bad with DD, ever! I was hoping I'd stand up and my water would break. :giggle: No such luck. I am sure I still have at least another week to go. But, I hope not too much past that.
However, I REALLY am trying to truly enjoy the last days/weeks of being pregnant and just relish in my 3 year old because our lives are about to change (for the better, of course but still...)
And, the amount of pressure I am feeling on my cervix is absolutely insane!!!! And tons and tons of back/lower ab cramps and lots of painful BH!!!!

Yes, we decided on Ava. It was a long process and although I don't like very popular names, I don't personally know anyone with a child named Ava (yet) so that helps.
Update: Ob appointment went well. Still 1-2cm but 50% effaced now so progressing slowly. I have been having pretty loose bms since my appointment but could have been the greasy BK burger I had for lunch! :giggle: I am really hopeful that Ava will arrive on her due date this Saturday although I know that is not very likely. :goodvibes:

Weighed in at 6lbs and 15 1/2 oz!!! 19 1/2 in long. BEAUTIFUL BABY!!! So if my baby girl is funny looking please don't tell me :giggle2:
Ok I have felt nothing but pressure all day and fell like crap :thud: Not contractions, not cramps just almost non stop pressure. I did just before my water broke (it was a small tear so I had broke my water quite a while before Wednesday). It just felt like the pressure wouldnt leave that area, there was a slight release but hardly enough, it might have been if my water had fully broke.

I was due last Friday but still no baby. I went to the doctor yesterday for bio testing and everything looks good. My fluid level is an 8 which is low but still in the normal range for this far along. I'm still only 50% effaced, and at the most a fingertip dialated. If the baby isn't here yet I have to go to the hospital on Sunday night for a monday induction. We are definately hoping it doesn't get to that though.

I had BH all day sun thought for sure she was ready to come. Went to MW today and opted out of a cervical check. I was always so upset with my first DD when I hadn't progressed. Trying not to psych myself out this time. Besides my DD has a recital this sat, if I am dilated I would be paranoid. They will check me next week for sure so till then I am blissfully ignorant.

I'm a little crampy, and have a Dr's appt tomorrow. I'm 38 weeks today. Last week I was told he's still floating high, and not to expect him early. Haven't had an internal done, and I'm not sure if I'm going to this week or not. My Dr will do them but generally doesn't see the point doing it ahead of time unless there's a problem. She told me I'm one of the easiest pregnancies she's had in a long time!
I'm ok though, I still have stuff to get ready. We moved 3 weeks ago and pretty much everything is unpacked, but not all completely organized and not very many decorations are up. I'd like to get all that done before hand. My last day of work is Saturday, and they're going to throw me a shower. I'm still missing a few things so I hope I get them from the shower, if not I still have shopping to do. Yuck.

My last baby was severe IUGR and born prematurely because his placenta just completely pooped out on him. And we found out this week that this placenta is deteriorating too. sigh. Thankfully it's not as big a deal because I'm already 37 weeks and he's measuring 5lbs 8oz.
So we have a c-section scheduled next wed (week from today). Assuming he passes all his NST and AFI between now and then.

I hardly slept at all last night because I was anticipating labor beginning and then my ds kept waking up crying (2 year molars I think) so it was a long night. Everyone was on edge. And I'm rofl at the 2/3 watermelon. I can't get enough of that or pineapple these days.
I'm 38.5 weeks. No progress whatsoever as of OB apt Tuesday. I've been crazy cramping, for more than a week. I thought for sure we'd have *some* progression to show for it , but no, nothing at all. Not even any CM  Then what the crap is the point of all this discomfort??? lol. Tonight has been the worst cramping, mostly in my back, to the point where I had to hold myself up while standing. But ctx aren't accompaning the painful cramps, so I'm not sure what is up? Maybe my back is about to go out. Sweet.

I have work due today I need to finish up so I can get paid for it, so I'm not really that upset, plus I'm meeting with a new doula in training who may attend our birth for free. yay. So I have things to keep me busy.
My EDD is Tuesday - 4 days. I have a midwife appt today but I'm not sure if I want her to check me. I hate to have contractions on and off for a week and NOT be dilated at all... it's very discouraging.

I told him that last night I literally could not walk - whatever muscle controls your legs from your abs - she was on it. Today the nurse said she could not get any pics. of the baby's face bc she was too low. It was on & off all day - then at about 8pm - again & for the rest of the night - could barely walk. i had to like slide my feet to move. i hope it is not like that again tongiht. I am trying to stay off my feet and get some rest, but....

39 weeks, 1 (almost 2) days here...
Ironic that I was on bedrest for 5 weeks trying to keep this little bugger in, and now that I'm up and about, he/she doesn't want to come out!
Last week, I was 2.5-3cm dilated, and the MW could feel the head and "bulging bag of water" during the exam. Of course, I thought that meant I'd go into labor this week, but no such luck. :) My water has never broken naturally, so I must produce a crazy strong bag or something.
I have a MW appt tomorrow, so we'll see if I've progressed any farther. I was a 4cm at the appt immediately prior to my other two kids births, so I hope I'm 4cm or so tomorrow. DS was 39 weeks 2 days, DD was 39 weeks 4 days, so hopefully we are close.
As much as I'm enjoying these pre-newborn days, I'm ready to move on. It's hard lugging this belly up and down stairs, and I'm just not a great mama right now...not enough energy to keep up with the LO's like I should. They are getting anxious to meet their brother/sister too.

Tomorrow is my due date and I have my OB appt in the morning so Im hoping to at least be dilated some more! I do think that the little guy is engaged and staying that way, Ive had A LOT of pelvic pressure since the contractions stopped and Im running to the bathroom like constantly so Im hopeful!
Oh and my house is sooo clean right now that Id LOVE to go into labor soon so that I can come home to it this way. DD will likely be spending most if not all of her time at my parents house and DH will be with me at the hossy or working so if I can just leave it looking this way I will get to come back to it too...

I'm 37 weeks with #3...sooooo tired of being pregnant! I am still doing in-home daycare so most days have about 7 kids here. UGH - it is getting tough. I'm just praying my water doesn't break while they're all here. It'd be like some big fire drill. My last labor - my water broke and my son was born 2 hours later.
A couple of days ago I was having horrible diarrhea, then more cramping and contractions and nausea, etc - was sure I was about to go into labor, but then yesterday I felt better. Go figure....lots of false labor episodes. Just want a healthy baby, and soon!!!!! So hard to wait at this point. Can't wait to hear news of everyone's little ones!!!

I had a bunch of false labor pains yesterday. The contractions were about 10 minutes apart and then tapored off. The nurse said it was because i wasn't hydrated enough. I guess i'll get out and run around alot today and get some grocery shopping done.

Hmmm...Yesterday, I was beginning to wonder if it was d-day. I had contractions every 5-7 minutes in the afternoon for some time. They kind of fizzled out lastnight, and then some woke me in the night. Today, still crampy; nauseaus, off and on contractions. I'm nervous and wondering! Not sure where I'm at in my "due date" though. Originally, it was the 21st; but the ultrasound said the 14th; so I guess we'll see.:headscratch:

39w4d today. Nothing going on here. My urine test +30 for protein yesterday at my appt, not sure what that means. They didn't make a big deal out of it considering my BP has been low. I'm not dilated at all at this point... how lame.

Well, my edd is tomorrow and I thought for sure this morning was going to be it, but false alarm again. My ds hasn't been feeling well and waking up a lot in the night, which of course means I am waking up. As if that wasn't enough, I started with a sore throat yesterday and now I feel like I have the FLU!!! I have been achy, my nose is stuffed, slight fever and my throat is killing me! I blew my nose so hard this morning that I blew my plug too! LOL! I was having contractions but now they are gone. :( I guess that's a good thing since I feel so yucky I probably wouldn't do very well in labor.

Ohhh mama...:hugs: :hugs: If she can't be in there, perhaps tape the parts of the birth you're aloud with a digital camera? Then your hubby can replay it for her after. You kids get better. I'll say a prayer for your family.:hugs:

Oh no not FLu!! Hopefully your body will let you get better before you have your little one.
sounds like there's been quite a bit of contractions going on around here.:giggle: Hope someone gets the real thing soon!
Well I went to my midwife appt yesterday, my iron level was extremely low, so I'm on this nasty tasting liquid iron supplement (double the amount) yuck:yuck: So hopefully this should bring that back up and have me feeling good by the time she decides to come. Other than that, everything looks good. Nothing new, just trucking along.. I think I've finally gotten everything on my homebirth list, I'd still like to find a nursing gown though. That's about it.

Today is my Due date! Saw the OB, I am a good 1cm working on 2cms, 70% effaced, baby is engaged between a 0 and +1 station. She stripped my membranes this afternoon so hopefully that will get things moving along (only about a 50/50 chance I think)! So far not feeling anything more than cramping (was really bad for about 3 hrs) and normal BH! Hoping to get some more real contractions soon and GET MOVING along. I have another appt on Monday, if I dont go this weekend, for an ultrasound and to check my cervix for progress. If not Ill be in the hospital on Wed for a repeat c-section :yuck: unless I make some progress and am 3cms or more, then they will start pit for an induction. Keeping my fingers crossed for this weekend!

It looks like a big booger, I hear. And tinged with bloody show.
Anyway, I am feeling like even though I'm only 37w4d I still have a while to go yet. I don't know why, but even my BH have really slowed down a lot in the last 2 days. I've only had a handful of really noticeable ones. Boohoo!

I just lost mine for the first time and I must say you described it VERY well, and I was glad I read your post earlier so I knew what it was when I saw it

I've been feeling really nauseous and crampy with loose stools again today. Now contractions about every 6 minutes for the last 90 minutes...I'm really hoping this is the real deal, I can't handle many more episodes of false labor!!!!

The plug can look like jell-o or a booger :giggle: My last one started out looking like a nasty booger and the rest of it came out during transition and looked like a cat poo. Seriously! I had to let the bath water out it was so gross.

Sweet! It was just a guess, and from what I've heard. I have not lost mine, and didn't lose mine with DD either. LOL

I'm officially full term (plus some) and hoping things start to happen in the next 2 weeks. I was a week over due with our first and while it wasn't uncomfortable I would love to go earlier rather than later this time around. Chasing around a toddler puts carrying an extra 40 lbs around into a whole other perspective :)
