I know, 2 kids, 3rd pregnancy, I should know this by now. I think I have been losing it slowly over the past week and just this morning, I had a bunch of stuff come out (sorry tmi). Dh and I did dtd last night so I thought maybe, it might be from that but I'm not sure. It was yellowy and looked a bit like when you blow your nose. Sorry:hide:. So, I'm not sure, is this the mucus plug or not. Nothing has come out since, no even a little bit.

hmmm it's possible, I know it's rather snotty looking, I know I lost it at some point with my first two but only noticed it with my third. If you know how you could always do a quick cervix check (just make sure your hands are very very clean, and no sharp or long nails;) )

How do you know if you've lost it or not with a cervix check? Can you feel it.

To me it sounds like it could also be leftover from dh (*sorry*). I always have that the next day and sometimes even two days after....and yes, it looks similar to a mucous plug, but a mucous plug is usually more formed. At least mine was, but i lost a big part at once. I would have described it more like clear and opaquey gelatin.

How do you know if you've lost it or not with a cervix check? Can you feel it.
You'd be checking to see if you were dilated at all.

my guess is leftover sp*rm. I get it all the time. Cause if it was the mucus plug I have lost mine EVERYTIME after hubby and I DTD. I get it all the time pregnant or not. It looks yellowish and VERY snotty, like you just blew your nose that is what that is its SR.

My plug didn't have color to it. It was snotty looking, but more like clear gelatin with a little bit of stringy mucus inside.
I love describing that. :giggle:

My plug looked like a huge, old, thick booger. Mine was old blood tinged and nothing like after sex discharge.
Though I have heard that not everyone has blood in theirs.

Looking like it was the plug. We dtd last night and this morning, it was much different. TMI
It was more sticky. The stuff that came out yesterday was very mucusy like after blowing your nose so it looks like it was the plug!
