Ok, I'm starting to freak out a little. This little one has never been a really active guy but he pretty much has a established a schedule. I was up at 7 with the boys and on the go from the moment we got up cleaning the house and such for Logan's speech therapy session. Around 9:30 I realized I hadn't felt baby move since getting up. I tried to sit and relax for a little bit to feel something but I didn't. Since getting up this morning I've only felt 3 or 4 very, very slight movements. Normally I wouldn't worry so much but when I was at the doctor on Friday when he measured my belly it was only 23cm when it should have been closer to 26cm so he ordered an u/s to check on things. I couldn't get in for that until next Friday, though. Should I call? I'm going to lie down for a bit and see if I can get him to move. At my ob's office when you call you never get to speak to anyone, just voicemail then someone calls you back like an hour later so I have time to rest while I wait for a call back I guess. What do you ladies think?

Have you tried drinking some OJ and/or a coke and then trying to feel movements? If not then I would try that while you wait but YES I would absolutely call the doctor - I would try and have them get you in today but I admit that I'm a worrier but nature though.
Have you heard anything else?

It's been 30 minutes since I did what the handout they gave me says to do and I still haven't felt anything. I'm off to call.

Keep us posted. Hopefully your little critter is just feeling shy and/or stubborn today.

Just to put your mind at ease some it could also be that your LO has 'changed' position and is resting comfortably in a different place than he was before - I mean, when I was pregnant alot of times my dd would move over to the left side and I couldn't feel her for anything!

If it makes you feel any better my son does this to me all the time! Today was even one of his quiet days as well. I know that in the case of my son nothing will wake him up when he is asleep. While this will be great when he is on the outside, on the inside it is a bit alarming. I have concidered getting a baby sounds monitor but I don't know how good they are. :headscratch:
Good luck and I hope your son moves and grooves more tomorrow!

I seriously think kids start toying with our emotions in utero. Hopefully he keeps moving enough to keep you at ease. :hugs:

It's just weird to be pregnant with one so mellow. My first 2 were bouncing all over the place by now. Makes me kind of nervous for how this one will be once he's born. The first 2 wild on the inside and the most easy going infants ever. This one will probably be the difficult one since he's so mellow in there :giggle:

Nope, mine was mellow while in ureto and she's mellow now!
Several of my friends have said the same thing so maybe it's that he's just gonna be a laid back fellow!

It says on my handouts that they're supposed to move at least once every 6 hours.

My little girl is a whirlwind most days, drives me crazy. Like the day last week where she decided after 5 hours of my sleep that the mattress was in her way. No matter which side I tried to sleep on she kicked the mattress for 2 HOURS. I can't stay on my back for long, so I had no choice but to put up with it. However, other days she is so still I can't feel her pretty much at all. I know she moves around a lot and that is one reason I feel here more some days than others. I finally figured out too that she is very quiet on my busy days. If I am up and down the stairs and using the sewing machine she is still (even when I am not actually moving). If I am cutting fabric or on the computer she is more likely to put up a fuss. She hates anything in her personal space so we can usually get her to move by putting a hand on my stomach or letting the laptop rest on my belly.
