Hi everyone! Im Meg and I thought I would introduce myself as I am new around here but would love to get involved! I am going to be 19 weeks on Monday with twin girls :giggle2: :giggle2: I am still in shock that they are both girls! We conceived via IVF so we knew there was a higher chance of multiples, we started off with triplets but lost baby C (aka Chance) at about 8 weeks. These two have stuck it out and things are going smoothly now! We plan to CD (I finally convinced DP using the financial aspect and showing her cute Owl diapers...her weakness lol) My technical dd is 12/15 but I wont be going past 12/1 (38 weeks). I hope I can hang around even though the girls will come in November sometime! We picked names too...Marley & Zaine :) We like somewhat unique/GN names.
I hope to get to know everyone here!

Thanks so much! I love your babies' names too! I used to know a baby girl named Genesis (sometimes Genny) and she was too cute for words, ever since that name has just brought forth happy vibes for me!

Hey! I'm also expecting twins due in December, but we are betting that they'll be here in November as well. We haven't found out the babies "flavors," as we call it, but we'll be finding out in about two weeks (July 30th).
We also got pregnant with IVF, but we went through a cryo cycle. We're waiting to find out our flavors before we decide on names. I really like unique names as well and literary names (much to hubby's dismay, the latter at least). Welcome to the group! I'd love to see a belly shot from another mama expecting twins! :goodvibes:

Thanks everyone! MrsCowell are you seeing a high risk doctor too? I think thats the only reason we found out the sexes somewhat early (16 weeks, confirmed at 18weeks) right now I am getting ultrasounds every 2 weeks at the hospital (high risk) and seeing my OB every 4 weeks. I saw my OB today and got to hear the heartbeats again (so love that sound!) and I go to the hospital on the 30th for my 20 week anatomy scan! I can't wait for that!

Hello and wlecome! I am due at the end of Nov. I was convinced that I was having twins but U/S tech says otherwise. We have two girls already and this one is a boy. Keep in touch. How are you feeling so far?

Hi Kerry, You always hear about a hidden twin here and there lol, I wonder how much longer it could hide though! I was convinced I was carrying a boy but now I imagine that the baby C we lost was a boy, that would explain things! Maybe you had a vanishing twin???
I actually feel pretty good, Im over 6' tall so Im actually just starting to get comments that I look pregnant but I think anyone who doesnt know me would just think Im fat (which I am that too lol) My doctor said I am carrying really well and the height (and long torso to boot) will really help me be more comfortable. I am just starting to feel the weight of the babies, sometimes getting out of deep chairs is tough and rolling over at night I feel like I have to use my arms on my tummy lmao. Ive only just gained 2lbs in the past 4 weeks, before that I had lost probably 12 or so. Of course the babies now weigh about 2lbs total so there you go lol. I had a horrid 1st trimester (on zofran by 14dpo couldnt even keep water or crackers down) lost baby C, so much fatigue etc etc etc that I kind of feel I deserve this lovely second trimester kwim? Im hoping fate continues to smile on me into the 3rd but thats not very realistic is it lol.
My DP even said to me a week or so ago "you really do enjoy being pregnant dont you?" and I must say I do! The first tri was horrid but now I can totally see myself getting pregnant again (contrary to what I told DP the first few weeks...ie this better work because I am NEVER doing this again lmao) I find myself smiling a lot even when Im in pain or angry over something else...maybe that has more to do with pregnant brain though :headscratch:
