What are you bringing baby home in, or, if home birthing, what is your baby's first outfit going to be? Show some pictures. I have NO IDEA what I'm bringing little miss Abigail home in, so I would love some ideas.

I don't have pics... I've got a particularly cute and tiny girly outfit but I also packed a gender-neutral onesie as well :P.

Our DD is almost 10 months old:cry: and I packed and ENTIRE bag just for the coming home outfits!!! We did not find out gender, so I had boy, girl and neutral outfits. Here are some suggestions:
No gowns, you can't fasten the carseat
Avoid skirts (If its a girl)
Opt for lighter layers and have a blanket with you
Don't worry too much about it. We went through 3 outfits before we left cause she spit up on everything!!!
Most of all enjoy it. I can't believe we are thinking about another already!!

Well, I seem to be setting up my unborn daughter to over-pack like her mama
Her take home outfit:

but it's been SO hot & humid here, just a onesie, hat & blankie might be ok...

And just in case she poos herself as we're trying to exit the building LOL:

I purchased this from a mama on here, she made the applique and added it to the shirt and I'm making a diaper to match and my mom is making me a bunch of baby hats, I'll probably use one of the Bamboo ones she's making me for the first hat with some kind of embellishment to pull the whole outfit together. We're having a home birth so it'll just be his first outfit.
just a side snap kimono tee and a little beanie..maybe some shorts but its been disgustingly hot here so I dunno.

I have to say, we had newborn outfits, and Bella was swimming in them. I am tempted to have a preemie outfit on hand this time just in case. I mean, she wasn't tiny by any means, but she ( of course) lost weight before we left, so was a little under 7lbs. I still need to figure out what the baby is going home in.
I am SUCH a procrastinator this time!!!

We don't know the baby's gender so I let DS pick out a boyish and a girly outfit. And we're having a homebirth, so these will be the "first outing" outfits as opposed to going home outfits.
I have no idea what I'm going to do, I am waiting till Dday to find out gender as well.. I have one cute girl outfit and my bff had a K&M made for me (that I think is boyish) and I have a yellow sleeper thing.. that's it.. I can't find ANYTHING I like that is GN..

Bootygold is customizing an outfit for us. It is sosoo sweet.
Light blue/orange soaker w/ goldfish in bags on the butt and I am sending her a Kimono T for embellishing to match.
We did the whole "outfit" thing on all of our girls and they were always HUGE.
LOL.
I am going simple this time around.
The one on the right is what we'll probably wind up using, since it's @sskicking hot in mid-August in VA! Just a side snap tee and a fleece soaker made by Dire Wolf. The one on the left is just in case we get a freak cold snap or something. :giggle: It's preemie sized...I learned with DS1 not to use 0-3 month outfits because my tiny kiddos will swim in them!
Tshirt or onesies w/ l/s and pink cloth fitted for girl or blue for boy.

Hello from the July ddc :) I packed a cute dress, but we did have a freak cool snap and luckily I had brought a one piece carters outfit. It had strawberries on it and ruffles on the bum  I also had wool backups. I think I brought 4 different outfits :giggle: Even w/ my 9lb son the newborns were plenty big enough so I would not go 0-3 months at all :)

I have a cute yellow gender neutral all in one that my MIL bought for my 1st son. We brought him home in it, then when my daughter was born we brought her home in it too. This one will be wearing it too. I kinda like the idea that they have all left the hospital in the same outfit. I love the photo's of them too, when this one is born I'm going to get all three framed in a big picture:mrgreen:

I picked up a pack of adorable Carters onsies for dd to come home in...and matching comfy pink pants ..or maybe they're Osh Kosh..I can't remember. I'm bringing 10 onsies {5 girlie, 5 white} because when I went to the hospital to have ds, I ended up being in the hospital for 4 days...and ran out of outfits! So even though I hope to be out within 24hrs....i'm prepared for anything.
Still have to wash them and pack my hospital bag though!
