I'm another newbie to these forums. My official EDD with #2 is 9/9, but after a 35 hour labor with failure to progress, followed by c/s, for #1, I'm going with a scheduled c on 9/2.
I was a pt cd-er with my DS, but plan to start earlier and be more consistent with DD. There are also financial incentives -- I found out last week that I'm being laid off shortly after DD is anticipated.

Welcome -- sorry about the job layoff. I've tried CDing before too ... I'm determined this time! Congrats on the new LO!

Welcome! Sorry about the job - I'm sure that adds a lot of stress to your life on top of everything else.
I've never tried cd-ing before. My entire family thinks I'm crazy. But I'm having a blast sewing. At least the dipes will be cute!

HI! I'm new too. That's rotten about the job. What bad timing too. I hope opportunity is just around the corner (or comes knocking or opens a window or whatever).
I'm due Sept. 21st with my first. I got married kind of late and we had some trouble getting pregnant. I'm so happy to finally get to be a Mom! Well, actually, I'm stressed out, crying a lot and full of aches and pains - but underneath all that I'm happy. I guess it's kind of cliche at this point to freak out a little.

Hey there! Sorry about the job. Coincidentally, my last day at work is this Friday due to lay-off. I will get unemployment, as will you, I hope? I'm due Sept 11, and this is my first time CDing a newborn. I have a 23 month old I just began CDing two months ago- and love it! Good luck!
