Can you get into the shower? Get off your back, walk around, hands and kness and let the belly hang to take all the pressure off. :hugs: Good luck and congrats!

Walking around made me feel better, then kneeling for contractions. Do you have someone there with you? Don't make my mistake and wait too long to call your midwife. Just checked your due date. You're a little early, so really don't wait with letting someone know you're in labor. It could be practice contractions, too, stay calm and good luck. *HUGS*

Momma I had hospital births with both of my children and the best thing was walking the halls and taking a shower. I tried the ball both times and it was horrible for me. keep walking and try a shower. :)

I also am going to suggest the shower. :hugs: Walking made labor so much more bearable too.

Whatever you do don't let them trap you flat on your back in bed. That will make it SO much worse.

Oh and don't ask them if you can take a shower, TELL them. You are paying them so they work for you. Take back your power mama!

I hope it's going better for you, maybe you have your baby by now. Try to relax as much as possible and don't let the staff stress you (hospitals tend to stress me out!).Try to focus on something during contractions, happy thoughts! ELV!!
