this is so not done. It's just the quilt top but I got it all done yesterday - it's clearly a wicked simple pattern, basic 9 square but I was going for simple. I never know what I want for the backing until I get the tops done and I am going to go find a little spring green/white gingham for it on Friday.

no, that's not simple.. you should of seen the one i did for my friend, now that was simple.. several 12x12 squares of minky and fleece. lol my friend loved it though and her baby won't sleep without it! :) I plan on making this one a quilt like that too. :)

Thanks mama. It's nice to make something for my own family every once and awhile. lol
I made my friend's daughter a pretty intricate quilt and she never really used it because they ended up co-sleeping and still do (she's almost 5 now). AAAA! Oh well. My son drags his quilt around, and his duvet with the duvet cover I made him. He loves his *car* blankie.

oh that is sooo pretty :wub: I can see how it could be easy and hard at the same time! I really like it though, it makes me see how making a quilt could be easy and not as confusing and difficult as I first thought. I tried starting one with my oldest and never got around to finishing it... but I really like how your pattern turned out!!
