Right now DS wears undies at home and when we are out, and rarely has an accident. We have been doing this for about 6 weeks now. We only use diapers for naps and nighttime, so we go through a max of 10 a week. It's usually more like 7 or so because we test the waters during nap time.

I am expecting our second in about 6 weeks, so I know I will be back to washing diapers every other day again and I am wondering if I should start selling off his stash and keep maybe 6 or so to keep in rotation. He has about 30 right now.

I guess my main fear is that he will regress when the baby comes and I won't have any diapers... Any advice?

I am not sure what to do either, but my advice would be if you dont need the money or the room right now, why not hold onto them for baby #2 ??

I would say to up them in storage for baby #2 also... I will be doing that with DD2's diapers except her pink ones which i'll be selling and saving the rest for her brother when he grows into them...

As far as him regressing i would say fight through it if he tries... Letting him know that babies wear diapers and big kids don't, and since he's a big kid he needs to wear undies.... (what i tell DD when she tries to put on her brothers diapers... we still use diapers for night time)

I would say with a new baby coming soon, I would keep them and expect regression. We didn't PT unitil well after #2 got here, so I don't have any tried and trued experience with that. After Mia was in undies full time, we sold half our stash (well, still selling them, lol), so like 2 weeks after we started PTing, we started selling (she caught on REALLY quick, she was definitely ready!)
