oh dear g-d i have to wear stretchy waistbands again

totally kidding ;)

No seriously, I already had to buy some new pants because one pair of my shorts that was already cutting it close are out of the mix (too tight in waist). Ilike to be comfortable, but cute, kwim?

What are you getting for fall and where will you get it from?

My SIL had the best maternity pants from Motherhood!! I will either be borrowing hers, or buying some of my own! They are the Jeans with the SUPER STRETCHY and SOFT over the belly band. I have to have something that goes over my belly or they don't stay up! And honestly the below the belly aren't very comfortable to me, they push in just the wrong places!

this is my first babe, so I am sooo geeked out to buy maternity clothes.
like I'm antsy to go on a shopping spree like asap...
but I think I'll wait until it's totally necessary...

I ended up giving everything away from my first two to my best friend so I am having to rebuy. I have been stalking FSOT for maternity clothes just cause they get pricey and only get used for such a short time. I love motherhood though pretty much everything I "had" was from there.

I didn't save much from my last pregnancy. I need to get a lot of stuff.

I've already bought a couple pairs of pants from Old Navy, 1 pair of Citizens of Humanity maternity jeans (LOVE those!!!), a Gap long sleeve shirt... and I'm going to get a couple Bella Bands soon.

I've still got everything from my other pg's so I should be pretty much set. I'm sure I'll have a splurge here and there, though! I already know that the big splurge will be this shirt (http://www.dueandsprout.com/Detail.bok?no=61). I think I'll get the s/s since I can just layer it in the winter. Not sure what color I want, though.

I had the "XX" one last time since we found out she was a girl and I had the "Jingle Bellies" one with DD1. Poor DS...I didn't know about these shirts when I was pg with him!

Lindsey- I've never tried a Bella Band. I just got a couple of Huggalug Bump Huggers, though, and I really like the look and feel of them.

I have most of the clothes leftover from my last 3 pregnancies, but I just went through them the other day... :headscratch: How in the world did I get by with 3 pairs of pants and 8 tops? Maybe I'm missing some clothes????

In the movie "Juno", Juno's stepmom cut off the top of some of Juno's jeans and added some stretchy jersey all around the top of the pants. Since that's my favorite kind of maternity pants, I think I'll look around GoodWill for some cute jeans, then modify them for a preggo belly. I've already made a summer hippie stripe dress with empire waist. It works for now, and would work with a giant belly, too. :giggle2: I was thinking ahead.
