I feel completely different this time being pregnant. Hardly any morning sickness and its only slight nausea at night. Last time I was nauseous all day long. I had a girl last time and am hoping for a boy this time. Could the difference in pregnancies mean anything? Have any of you felt completely different during the pregnancy but ended up having another boy or girl? Just curious! Can you tell I'm anxious to find out? :giggle2: If it's a boy, I NEED to start shopping!

I've had 3 girls and 1 miscarried boy and all three girls were exactly the same. With my boy I hardly had any symptoms. I have no symptoms this time and I swear it's a boy. So yes I believe that symptoms can for some women tell you the sex.

I was convinced I was having a girl last time because the pregnacy was so completely diff from my first. I couldn't believe it when the u/s tech said it was a boy...... My first was a breeze (I could have had 12 more kids if all pregnacies were like that one) my second sucked big time, lots of sickness and everything else that goes along with it, and so far this time I am somewhere inbetween.

My first pregnancy with DS#1 was pretty easy, 2nd pregnancy was the same and it was another boy...this pregnancy is TERRIBLE! Constantly nauseous, vomiting, serious food aversions! I can't even stand to hear or say the word pizza! Almost gag just typing it! I am praying this is a GIRL!! My mom and grandmother both say it must be a girl due to the dramatic difference in pregnancies! Hopefully they are right!!!!:goodvibes:

My 1st two pg's were totally different and they are both girls (although they have totally different personalities). Last time it was different but it was twins. This pg is the first time I have ever felt sick.
I really think each pg is different but I'll keep my fingers crossed for a boy for you

All three of my previous pregnancies have been different. This one is too. I am just so grateful to not have to thrown up so often! lol When I had my last DD I puked EVERY day, even the day I gave birth!!:yuck:

My cravings are the same as with DS, so my DH is thinking (wishing) it is a boy to "even the score" lol

My first 3 were the same and were girl, boy, girl. This time is worse. Thinking it's a boy...guess I'll find out in oh 29 weeks :giggle:

This pregnancy is completely different for me.

With my first, I was sick from week 6 until week 13. Often just nauseous 24/7, but also vomiting every other day.

With this one, I felt a little nauseated in the AM for about a week and now; nothing! I even went to the dr because I thought I had lost the baby. I had a beta done and it was right where it should be for 8 weeks! Whew!

I guess time will tell what is growing inside! My mom was sick with me, but nothign with my brothers so.... we will see! We are team green, so will wait 'till March!

If you don't mind my asking, was your first a boy or a girl?

Don't think it might be a boy!

My pregnancies were EXTREMELY different and I have 2 boys. I was certain the second time around it was a girl b/c it was so different, but, no.

Not only were my pregnancies different from the moment of conception until birth (one c-section, one all natural vbac), but even my 2 boys are like night and day in EVERY way.

With DS I had a super easy pregnancy and was never sick or feeling bad. This pregnancy is horrible, I can barely function, I feel sick all the time even at night and am so tired. I definetly think this is a girl and so does my mom and grandma. Of course DH wants a boy so we will see :goodvibes:

My 1st pregnancy was a girl and my 2nd a boy, totally different as far as symptoms, weight gain, body shape, you name it. Definitely more symptomatic with the girl.

But I don't know WHAT is going on this time! Hardly any symptoms, except I get ravenously hungry really quickly, even after eating, and if I don't eat quickly enough I get light-headed and have even had some dry heaving spells upon waking up from being so hungry. Yet that's the only time I'm really nauseated.

And if I get big as a house again, I'm going to think it's a girl...

So many different responses! I guess we'll have to wait and see. We should all compare notes once we find out and see if we guessed correctly!
Thanks for sharing your experiences!

With DS, I had horrible morning sickness and puked at least once a day until around week 15. It was awful. I also had terrible motion sickness, showed early, got extremely hungry in the middle of the night, and got HUGE! This time around, I've been nauseous every morning but it hasn't been nearly as bad as with my son. I haven't even puked. I also haven't gotten the hunger pains in the middle of the night this time. We're hoping for a girl....but who knows!!!!:goodvibes:
