I am in Victoria now, but I grew up in Abby and still have family all over Abby! Nice to know your out there!:)

I live just across the river in Mission, and lived in Abby for 2.5 years after moving to Canada to live with my Canadian hubby. We go to church in Matsqui. I'm a 34 year old first time mom of a 7 week old boy. I'd love to meet other moms. I'm currently stuck at home except for doctor visits thanks to a bad tear and a bunch of complications including infection. But I'm hoping to be well enough to get back to my regular walks at Mill Lake, only this time with a sweet baby in either my sling or our stroller. My goal is to be up and about at normal speeds by April. If you'd like to do a Mill Lake walk sometime this spring, just let me know. I'm happy to chat here too.

It's funny to find a mama from Abby on here. I found out about this site from a friend in my old hometown of St. Louis, Missouri, and never expected it had so many members from Canada.

Hey inkling, I'm in Mission too and I don't know anyone here who has a baby. I'm due in 8 weeks :ahh: with my first.

I'd love to get together with other mom's in the area. I don't drive but I do live right next to heritage park and it's a nice place to go for walks.

I'm in Maple Ridge, and work in Mission (on leave). I think you guys are closer than the Vancouver Crew. PS, Does anyone know of anyone who makes fitted diapers locally? We are still pretty new to this business, even though our babies are not!

Hey twins plus one! And Hey Amelia - I have a few tiny sized cloth diapers that no longer fit the boys (fitteds, all made by local WAHM's). They are all in pristine condition and would fit a small baby (trust me, I have small bummed babies... they must take after their dad!). If either of you would like to have them, let me know, and I will send them out to you. PS congrats

33andunder that would be AWSOME... we are just canceling our diaper service and are going to do cloth ourselves. One of our twins has major issues with disposables, she get blister rashes in them....
the diaper service was awsome but they rased there rate 3 times in the last 4 months and its just unfordable anymore....

We recently stopped the diaper service too. It was great when the twins were first born. The prices were really reasonable, but we came to the same conclusion when the prices were raised; we could do it ourselves. PM me your mailing address, and I will send them out to you.
