Still Here!!! Update - Scared for other reasons now

Finally! I heard back from the OB today. I'm definitely still in this game. Did I hear him correctly? Did he say 52,540 for my HCG count? I mean, that's what I wrote down as he spoke. And it meant nothing to me until I looked up normal ranges. And now I'm afraid there may be more than one baby! He didn't mention that as a possibility.

In any event, I was initially not planning on having an early u/s. Boy, are OB's and midwives different. He's got me scheduled for one on Thursday. To be sure it's not ectopic. Whereas my midwife just told me to be aware of cramping and pain and contact her if I had any of that before week 8. Anway, I'm scheduled for Thurs at 11:30 am.

I think twins might be fun. I think twins would be so stressful that my head would fall off, but fun. :thumbsup: I'm glad your levels are at least going up!

GL with the ultrasound how far along are you in weeks. That is a high number compared to mine 5570 for 4 weeks so it is possible you misunderstood. I would "think" if he thought twins he would have said your numbers are high and that might be a possiblity...Keep us updated.
