what am i doing wrong? my almost 3 yr old will not take his pants down to pee on the potty, he fights me! he'll pee during naked time,and sometimes poop oon the potty then, but willnot do it with just trainers or pants on too. he kicks and screams and throws a monster fit:cry: im soooo at my whits end about this. why is he fighting this? i want him potty trained soo bad. hes almost 3! everyone else ( i know its bad to compare) has their kids potty trained by 2. it so frustrating. it makes me cry, scream, sulk.... what do i do?

The very best thing you can do is just to let it go and not even mention it. Seriously someone on here gave me this advice and boom a few weeks ago DS potty trained.
I am so glad I listened to the advice.
He just asked to go potty one day and he was instantly trained with very very few accidents.

my son was past 3 when he potty trained. i say don't stress. he will eventually learn.

My eldest is 4 and a half and only now just training. Don't feel bad about him being "late" to potty train. Just relax and don't turn it into a power struggle.
