Where did the time go?

I'm not due until late September, but is anyone else just floored by the fact that next weekend is Labor Day weekend? What happened to the summer????

I know what you mean! It has definitely hit me especially since I work at a school. This whole pregnancy I've been thinking about how I was going to have the baby about a month after classes start, and here we are ready to start classes next week! I feel like I've been pregnant forever now, but at the same time I can't believe how quickly our due date is approaching. I can't believe that I'm going to be a mom soon.

And no, I'm not ready. :D I have all the stuff I need for the most part, but in every other way I'm not sure I'm ready.

Where DID the time go? I kept telling myself I had 9 months of diaper shopping so not to worry. And here I am 9 days before trying to finish up his stash :blush:. I am actually due middle-ish September, but am having a C-Section due to some complications with me. I feel like I just found out I was pregnant.

I know I know...it seemed like my first took forever to "cook," but this one just flew by. I've been a lot bussier, which helps. But I still have stuff I need/want to get done, and it seems like time is slipping by and each day I have less energy. And today I feel like I'm catching a cold (or just have bad allergies) which isn't making me any more motivated to do stuff.

And as much as I would dread having a C-section, part of me is jealous that you have a definate date that your baby is going to come! I am a planner, and I don't enjoy waiting indefinately (not really, but you know what I mean).

It is crazy. I had been feeling overwhelmed by what I still had to do, but this week I plugged away at my list and I seem to have good progress and I feel ok that this is where I'm at. But I still can't believe I have 1 mth left.

I can't believe it either! I'm due exactly 4 weeks from today! I go for my ultrasound to check baby's weight and make sure my placenta isn't too low on Monday! I really can't believe in a week I'll be considered full term. My water was leaking with my last baby and I had her exactly at 37 weeks- which I'll be next Sat! My first DD was born at 39 weeks! So, inevitably I am having this baby soon. I am excited yet, not ready at the same time.

I'm glad I'm not the only one feeling that way. I just ordered the final diaper-making supplies I needed from diapercuts, and she shipped yesterday - thank goodness I'm planning on 'sposies for the first few weeks/months until he fits in a small, because it's going to take me that long to make the diapers! LOL

I'm glad that I'm not the only one still sewing diapers. I've got my NB's all done, now I'm working on the smalls. I think I have enough stuff for the smalls, but I'm going to have to wait and see I suppose.
