I made this for a friend of mine that EC's.
Knit outer, velour inner, middle layer is sherpa, using the RRP pattern. I added an internal soaker as well as two lay in soakers so she can adjust the absorbency as she needs it. I don't have a serger so all the edges are straight stitched and then zig zagged twice. I really need a serger, LOL. No action shots, DD always pees in a new diaper and I need this clean today :)

I don't think it was overkill, you can always use extra soakers!

It looks great!!

Where did you order the materials from? I want to make the LO on the way some dipes, but have no idea where is a good deal for Canadians to buy fabrics or if there is anywhere locally? :)

Thank you :goodvibes: I bought it all from the states actually. I haven't found any Canadian sites that sell the any of it with the exception of Wazoodle.com, but I hesitate to buy from them as I heard their CS is not up to par. I couldn't really find anything locally at all.

AND she LOVES the diaper :lostit: She's telling everybody about it  :giggle:

Great job! I had a hard time telling you did it without a serger. I will have to try that technique on a dipe or two around here. I'm just waiting patiently for some hemp to come (night time diaper). :giggle:

thank you, I'm happy to hear that I was worried it wouldn't look professional. A serger would be faster, I would only have to go around once instead of three times. Good idea about the nighttime diaper, it gets so expensive trying to find something that works.

What is it about a new diaper that makes them need to pee?!
Very cute mama :)
