I feel I have nothing left to do... I have "window" shopped and picked out everything that I want to (or need to) replace.. I have to wait till income tax to buy it all.. but I have picked our new bassinette (sold mine), crib (they don't take a very good beating), a new swing (because it plugs into the wall) a new travel system (because we no longer have our infant car seat), I have even picked out new parts to my breast pump..lol. I have picked out my newborn dipes.. well the prefolds and covers anyway (and maybe a few KL0s), I will be sewing up all my fitteds and knitting and crocheting all of my own wool. I also want to sew a ringsling, some more mama cloth. But I feel like I have done everything there is to do, and now don't know what I will do with the rest of the 9 months.

If I have another girl I will not have to buy ANYTHING! We have it all because we just had a baby seven months ago! If it's a boy we will have to buy some clothes. Although...I didn't start cloth diapering until my daughter was about five months...so I have no newborn diapers. I haven't decided if I want to do cloth for the newborn. If I had done cloth with my daughter from day one I think it would have been really hard. I think my baby pooped way more than most babies. I am going to look around and see what's out there.

I have started to feel a little sick here and there. I am curious because with my first pregnancy I didn't get morning sickness at all. I have had a few times that I felt a little nauseous and light headed, but nothing serious yet.

I didn't have morning sickness at all with the last 2, but my first I got sick every time I ate!! AND for the whole 9 months!!! I lost 30 pounds while pregnant with him, it was insane!!

I get a bit nauseous now and then the past week, but so far the only thing that bothers me is my sense of smell is soooo strong! I can smell anything for a mile away, oh and the girls hurt pretty bad off and on.

i have lots and lots of boy's clothes...and we have a bouncy chair, baby play mat, etc.

i want to get a double stroller and a new infant car seat...the one we have is really hot to ride in and this baby will be a spring/summer baby too.

any recommendations?

We sold EVERYTHING except the cribs & mattresses.

I will need to replace everything, but the rumor is, I will be having a shower in the spring :giggle:

WAY TO GO, MAMA! I can't even get the floors swept these days, ha ha ha.

After the last miscarriage, I sort of over-reacted to the loss by deciding I wasn't ever going to risk trying to have another baby again. I gave all my maternity clothes and leftover baby clothes to the crisis pregnancy center where I volunteer. Since I was keeping a friend's 12-week old baby at the time, I hung on to my infant seat, my exersaucer, the bouncy seat, and a few of the bigger baby items. That is all I have!

If we find out this baby is a girl, I won't feel so badly about getting rid of all the baby clothes, but I really can't believe I am going to be investing in a whole new maternity wardrobe. :giggle2: DH is planning to have a vasectomy before I deliver, so I really will be buying a whole bunch of stuff for one pregnancy. Ah well. At least I know it all went to a good place.

I didn't start CD'ing ds # 2 until he was over a year, so this will be my first time cloth diapering a newborn. I am really excited! I plan to start a stash after I get through this trimester.

If any of you have suggestions for newborn diapers I would love to hear about what worked for you or what you plan to use! I use pockets on my daughter and I really like them. I am not sure they would have worked before she started solids though, because she would have leaked right through them. That was actually my biggest challenge with her, the leaky diapers. She leaked her disposable diapers at least twice a day. I went through so many disposables with her everyday I would probably need at least 30 cloth diapers for the new baby if it's going to be anything like my daughter.

KelseyJoy, I see alot of people say that kissaluvs 0's are best for a newborn. I may buy some of them, but my plan is some prefolds and some homemade fitteds with a combo of wool, and prowraps and bummis super whisper wraps.

kissaluv 0's (that's the size, or KL0's as they're called in abbreviation) are pretty awesome for newborn...they are made of sherpa so they are textured and really contain the newborn poo...much better than disposables, im sure.

i was able to put those on my son without a cover for the early weeks, even.

i only had 3 so i would save them for overnight...i plan to buy a few more. ive also got some really cute bamboo blueberries diapers that are so adorable...i dunno how well they perform, but they sure are soft...

newborn mutts sure get a lot of attention...i think cuz they're so cute...
