Good morning girls.
I fear I may be out of the game, but I am happy to see this stupid cycle go already! It was an awful one...confusing and full of ups and downs...literally!
My temp took a nose dive under the CL this morning! I feel crampy, but cervix is holding steady and is firm, closed, and high right now. Yesterday it felt as if it was starting to open up as the OS was soft. Always a mystery with me.

Oh well, I am SUPER hopeful for next cycle, as I have my temping/charting down and a super BIG tube of preseeed coming. LOL :)
Michelle~ What's going on in your cycle today???

i feel like a reproduction idiot....i have no idea about a closed cervix and being firm and steady....i really don't know my body like that...though i wish i did.
all i know is my clearblue monitor tells me when i am most fertile which will probably be tomorrow and the next day so i am waiting to schedule my iui once the ob/gyn calls back. :goodvibes:
PS: How do i get a pair of panties for luck?

Have you read the book "taking charge of your fertility" yet? I borrowed it from the library. It is an excellent resource and explains things in GREAT detail. You could find out alot about your own body that you never dreamed you'd ever know.
As for the panties, right click on it from someon'es sig, save it to your computer, then upload it to your siggy. :goodvibes:

Temp stayed the same, so I think I am still waiting to O. Looked promising yesterday. Now I know how charting can get addictive!

Jen,
You had a pretty clear (at least to me) thermal shift. If your temp is still elevated tomorrow, you should get an O date. I am pretty sure you are 2dpo, but keep bd'ing for good measure.

Good morning!
:hugs: Stacey. :hugs:
I am seriously confused. I guess temping would have been great for me this cycle. However, I didn't, because I knew with the move and all the stuff related to the move, that I would have forgotten to temp some mornings.
Last night, I had stretchy CM, but not quite EW yet... if that makes sense. It was stretchy, but not stretchy enough. I noted it on my chart. My cervix is still medium, and it's not really high up anymore. I dunno. :headscratch:
At this point, I am 7 days away from AF, and I am anxious to see what will happen. :giggle2: Will I get AF? Will I not get AF and have to wait another 6 months? Or will I not get AF and have to wait 9 months to see a baby? :giggle2: I am hoping for a regular AF, and if not, then my plan is to go on BC for a couple months.
We had planned on going on BC the beginning on this month, but AF showed up and ruined that. I had hoped to be done with it before the new year. New hope for the new year. I wanted to do it at least 3 cycles, to see how my cycle/body would react to it. And, during that process, try to lose 15 or more pounds.
[sorry for the novel. I just wanted to get some of that out of my system...]

I'm back. My forced break is over. Although, it was kind of nice to not have to think about TTC.
Michelle, will you please move me to CD1? This month we plan to temp and use the SMEP. I'm hoping for the best.
Good Luck Girls!!!

Good morning ladies!
Sorry to hear all the lost hope for the cycle. I am really crampy and have not a clue what is going on with me. I am at work between classes now and I am trying to keep myself from thinking about all this pg stuff, but can't.
I so hope af doesn't rear her ugly face my way this cycle.
I have a question.... If I normally have a 28 day cycle, but O'd on day 20 should I still expect af on day 29? Or should I give it a few extra days?
Thanks,
Megan

Thank you so much for you input, it def helps. I wanted to strangle my thermometer this morning :giggle:. I also think I O'd with all the eggwhite CM I was getting.

Megan, the average luteal phase (time after ovulation to af) is about 14 days - so if you think you oed on cd20, then I wouldn't expect af until about cd34 (unless you have a shorter lp, then whatever that normal length would be). I hope that helped and didn't confuse :goodvibes:

cd34..NO!!! I can't wait that long... Is there any way I got false positives on my opk's???? It is very unlike me to have such a weird cycle...like I never had one like this. Since I started af at 14 my cycles are 28 days. If I didn't test using opk from Thursday-Saturday and took one Sunday on a whim is it possible that it would have been positive on Thursday and stayed positive through Monday???

I haven't been around much lately. Totally busy! I am leaving to go up to NJ tomorrow for a wedding on saturday (DH is the best man and dd is the flower girl). I get to go see my new nephew. AHH..holding a newborn is sure going to make my ovaries ache even worse!
Been having a bit of a hard time lately thinking about going back up there. The last time I was up there is when my mother passed away in July. It is going to be so weird to go up here for the first time and have her not be there. I am making memory pillows out of her scrubs (she was a nurse) for all the grandkids and the scrub jackets still smelled like her and I at in a pile of them sobbed.
I can't wait to get my BFP, it is not like it will "replace" my mom or anything but it will be so joyous to add to our family that it may lessen the sting some

Lots and lots of :hugs: and  for you to get through the weekend. I hope that you are still able to have a good time.
I think it is wonderful that you are using her scrubs to make the memory pillows for the grandkids. I have a bear that was made out of a shirt of my grandpa's and I love it!! Even though he passed away in 2004 and I very well grown it still means alot. I am sure when the kiddos are older they will still love what you made for them.
Much :hugs: Mama!!

I am so sorry to barge into your thread  but I really felt compelled to comment.
Misty - I think it is WONDERFUL that you are creating memory pillows for your family. My father died just under 2 years ago of pancreatic cancer (I was 21 and he was 52) and a friend of the family made me a memory quilt out of pieces of some of his shirts that he wore frequently. I cannot tell you how much it means to me to have it and it will ALWAYS be one of my most treasured items. It's so difficult to lose a parent or family member but what you are doing for your family is wonderful. I just had to tell you that it brought me to tears reading it because I can relate so closely :hugs:

I ran in to find him all mangled in his crib. when I picked him up, his body stayed in that shape. we called the neuro and they didn't return our call. we're pushing them to bump up the MRI:cry:

I'm trying to catch up with everyone, as I haven't really been around that much. I can probably be bumped into the 2ww...God only knows when (if) I o'd. Not feeling hopeful this cycle anyway, as last week was a rough one for sleep and emotion around here. Good luck to everyone getting ready to test in the next couple of days...I want to see those BFPs when I do check in!

Hi ladies! I need to be added to the list at the top as I am new to your TTC board. You can put me down as 2WW, I'm not ready to test just yet.
I'm TTC #2 and getting discouraged. I had a M/C at 4w 3d on August 4th. And this will by my second cycle since then with no sign of PG yet. I'm 10 DPO with no symptoms like I had with my other two pregnancies at this point. I had a Mirena IUD removed in June. I use OPK's and chart and have clear and obvious ovulation with both so I'm getting frustrated that it's not happening fast. We got PG the very first cycle with my son.

Hi ladies, nothing new here however my bleeding is finally letting up...what a relief! :lostit: I am a little chunky in the middle but I have NEVER been asked if I was pregnant before when I haven't been, tonight at my dentist appointment the receptionist asked me when we were due   I have been having a rough night, here Marty's due date would have been this Friday and I have just lost another...sucks.
Anne~ I am so sorry about little Joe, I hope you get some answers soon:hugs: My ds had something that sounds simialar when he was younger, the nero. called it Sandifer's syndrome (sp) from his reflux and other issues. I remember nursing him (when he would eat anything at all) an he would pull off and get "stuck" in a position. Most the time it would be with his head drawn off to the side and his knee and elbow touching on the same side. Very scarey, but nothing too serious...I hope that is the case for your lil' man too. Hang in there sweetie!:hugs:

Joe had "Sandifers like tendencies" as an infant but this is beyond anything I've ever seen. it's totally like a grand mal seizure except he is conscious and screaming through the whole thing.

We love you, too, Anne! I am so sorry for what you're going through with Joe.
I don't get how the medical professionals don't want to push this through for you to get some answers for you/him. He is so young and to have to go through something so awful without any treatments is just so cruel. :hugs: :hugs: :hugs:
