I was 18-19 DPO when I tested...and that line came up RIGHT away, as in I got confused and thought that was one of the control lines...and then DH had to correct me. Even he, a clueless man, said "dang that's dark!"

Hey there Mamas,
I am due in June i am thinking. I got a BFN on Tues of last week and then a very dark BFP on Saturday and had my HCG levels checked on Monday, they where only at 89 but for as early as I am i guess that was good. Go in on the 14th for an ultrasound. I have pcos so dont have an exact O date. I am very excited about this baby. With my last one we where told we would never have another one without IVF and there she was after fertility meds and 2 years. She is now 10 months and here was are. Still in shock, but good shock. Look forward to spending time with yall, love DS. Not feeling much yet, sore boobs,a little nausea and nose bleeds but other than that all is well. Wishing you all the best of luck for the next 8 months!

Our little June Bug is due on the 8th. Although if it has the same timing as my son it'll be a May baby. This pregnancy is really different than with DS. No nausea yet, craving spicy food, and soooo tired all the time. The opposite of my symptoms before. I'm thinking pink and want a girl soooo bad!

I'm due June 9th but we'll see how accurate that is. I just went to the doctor to confirm. This is the first month that DH and I tried so I think we got pretty lucky. This is my first so I'm super excited and terrified.

So far the only symptoms are being tired, moody and a little quesy.

Got my BFP on Sept 17th @ 9 DPO! Preg w/ #4! I have my 1st u/s on October 9th @ 6 1/2 weeks. I just had a recent loss at 27 weeks in June '08 of a baby girl with a lot of anomalies... so I'm cautiously here until that anatomy scan at 18 weeks when we're reassured we have a perfectly healthy baby. GL to all the June mamas! Being preg in this season will be BIG change for me... I *may* just have to get new maternity clothes this time! DH has already said my maternity clothes budget is ZERO--imagine him holding up his hand making an "O" :roflmbo: Ha ha... ;o)

Didn't have heartburn until the third trimester last time. I think I'm out of luck with the belly. Last time I was wearing maternity pants within a couple weeks of finding out. I'd only gained one pound, but I'd gained 4 inches!! I think this time might be even faster. Yikes!

Just got a really dark BFP this morning. I think my due date is like June 9th, but it'll be a c-section baby so he/she will be here around the 1st or 2nd I would guess. Called the dr. and not going in until like Oct. 15th...I think they'll do an ultrasound to verify my due date and make sure baby's heart looks good. This is #3 for me and it is a surprise I should say. I have a boy and a girl already so we are just hoping for a healthy #3. We are really excited. We've decided not to tell anyone until after our 1st dr.'s appointment so I am so glad I could share this with you ladies or I might burst! This will be a new experience for me - a summer baby! I have had 2 December (almost Christmas) babies! I may be needing some new maternity clothes too!

For those of you with queasy stomaches I've heard drink Carnation instant breakfast mixed with whole milk first thing in the morning to fill your belly up and it's supposed to help. I was really sick with #2 so I plan to try it this go around.

I was on the forum for Sept 08 babies but I found out my baby passed away when I was 5 months along. My youngest is 3 years old and is no longer in diapers so I've stayed away. Until now. We got our BFP (actually it was kinda faint compared to DD's lines) but we're going with it. EDD is June 13th.

I have a few questions for you mamas... when is the right time to go to the doc to confirm? With DD we were living in China and weren't near a westernized hospital to see a doc that spoke any english so we didn't see a doc until I was 12 weeks along. So needless to say, this pregnancy is going to be really different since we're in the states now! I keep reading people saying that they go to the doc to have it confirmed...call me clueless...but do you go to a gyno? general prac? or what? And what do they have you do?

Um... so I guess I'm joining in! I'm 4 days late today so I finally tested. I found out after sitting down and opening the test that I didn't really have to pee...:giggle: so only about 5 drops hit the stick and the line showed dark instantly! I've felt faint for the last week, and a bit queasy...but we weren't trying so I'm still a little shocked!

And the down side though, 3 times last week when DH and I DTD I bled afterward...at the time I just thought I was about to start AF. I did the same thing with my girls but it still makes me nervous. I'll get into the doc asap to make sure everything's okay.

I am very excited to be having another little angel but it is hard sharing with my close friend, She just had a baby but is still having a hard time because she cant have anymore due to health problems. She really wanted more and i feel bad about being excited about mine. Oh well.

MadeinChina, as far as going to the Dr. as far as i know it really depends on how your pregnancies are. Mine I go asap because I am a high risk pregnancy but for just a normal pregnancy i think the rule of thumb is at 8wks. you go to the OB. Alot of Drs. will not see you before then. Good luck to you! Erin- so sorry about your loss. A good friend of mine went through the same situation and had a healthy pregnancy and baby a year later. We're glad you're here!

MadeinChina (April?)- You will need to see an OB (or midwife). Unless you have history of M/C, ect I think the pretty standard time for the first appt is between 7-9 weeks. And then you go every four weeks starting at week 12. Every two weeks after either 28 or 30 weeks. And weekly after 36.

and then there's my cousin who was the most miserably sick person I've ever heard of during pregnancy and her babies are healthy and happy too!!

I was sick sick sick with my DD for the first 6 months...I was even admitted into the hospital at one point for dehydration. It was all worth it though.
I have met many lucky women who have no morning sickness and healthy babies, though.

the only symptom I've had so far is just a little crampy feeling down there. but nothing else. my first pregnancy was a piece of cake (mmmm....that sounds good) so I'm hoping this one will be too!

MadeInChina - about your dr. questions - I think most of them have already been answered here, but you can go to like a walk-in-clinic, your general practitioner, or like a CVS Minute Clinic and they will do a pregnancy test for you too, but I think most OB/GYN's will say if you get a positive HPT and don't have any bleeding or any other symptoms that concern you they generally don't see you until you are at least 6-8 weeks...my 1st ob/gyn didn't see me until I think I was 12 weeks (we don't use go there anymore though). Unless you have health concerns - I wouldn't worry about going to the dr. - you'll get to know your OB/GYN pretty well by the time the baby's born and I remember being SOOO tired of having to going so often - but it pays off as I have 2 had happy healthy babies! Good luck - I can't imagine having a baby in China!

I believe I'm due in June also. I just got it confirmed by the doc today (he took blood for some HCG testing) and said that I'm about 4 weeks. I am considered high risk, so I will be having an u/s soon I assume. With my son, I had an u/s at 6,8,10,&12 weeks. I am not actually sure the exact day I'm due because I haven't had an AF after my last m/c.

I found out at 4 weeks even and at that time I felt fine. Few days later it started up and have been queasy off and on since. This is my third and I heard that symptoms tend to show up earlier with subsequent pregnancies. Great...:rolleyes:

I too have been feeling just crappy for the past week and a half. I am hoping it will ease up soon, with my last it got so bad that i had perscription lotion to rub on my wrists to stop the nausea because I could not hold down the pills. Hoping we all get past it soon :)

I just got my BFP this morning at 12DPO!!! I'm super excited, but DH isn't really feeling it yet! I hope his attitude changes soon... This is my 2nd pregnancy and according to FF my EDD is June 21st!!! I go in for blood work this coming Monday and my first u/s appointment is Nov. 25th. I don't really have many symptoms besides constipation :yuck: backaches and some light cramping. I did start gagging when I was changing the trash can yesterday though:headscratch: . In retrospect, I knew I was pregnant when we DTD.

I had a quesy fit yesterday but so far today I am ok. Just having hot flashes and headaches, but hey- thats better than my MS, I had hyperemesis with DS, lost 25 lbs and had to stay in the hospital for 3 days, I am hoping and praying it doesn't get that bad this time, but if I'm having a girl, which I think I am, LOL, It will probably be worse.. Oh well, we will see! I started being sick at around 7 weeks with DS, I'm enjoying this while I can!

I've been feeling weird today and TRYING not to stress out-- it feels like super faint cramps or contractions, or maybe just "fullness"...I'm pretty sure I remember feeling this with my girls too, but it's almost like after 2 healthy babies I'm waiting for "my turn" for a MC...you know? I keep telling myself that I can't do anything about it anyway, and I just need to be positive and get my mind on other things. I'll feel better at my 8 week appt...but I still have 18 days to wait! :(

Most people see a midwife or OB. You don't have to get it confirmed, and you don't have to have a super medicalized pregnancy if that's not what you want. I'm not even going to bother calling my midwife until closer to my second trimester.

As for your second question, I'm not buying anything yet. I had m/c's in July and August, so I don't wanna jump the gun.

Ha, I started a thread asking about a due date list and it was right in front of my face!

I just got a BFP today, we weren't planning but it's a welcome surprise. I O'ed late (hence why I'm PG, we thought the window was over) and haven't been charting so I'm not totally sure about my EDD. Sometime in the 4th week of June. I went 4 weeks early with DD so I may end up with a May baby, we'll see. For now I'm just taking it one day at a time and hoping this baby sticks.

So far I'm already getting preggo brain (I miscounted trying to figure out my EDD three times before realizing I was a week off, for starters), my boobs are sore, I'm tired, and I feel crampy. Oh, and I'm super antsy at the moment, that happens to me early on for some reason.

I just found out on Monday, that we are pregnant with #2. We are so excited!! I had to wait 3 days to finally find out if I was pregnant or not. I used internet cheapies that kept showing me glossy lines. Then I used a dollar store test that I swear I saw a line and DH said it looked like an evaporation line because it wasn't dark like with my 1st pregnancy and it didn't show up right away. Used an Answer test and saw a faint faint line but still thought it was an evaporation line or my mind wanting it to be a line. When I finally bought a Clear Blue Easy Digital test--the test malfunctioned--I saw it go from pregnant, not pregnant, to error and then it shut off. Thankfully I bought a 5 pack of them and my second test showed pregnant. I showed DH and he didn't believe me--thought I was "line crazy" and had to actually read the words,then he was so happy. So yeah, it has been a long journey and I am feeling ok. Had headaches and cramps and I am tired. Edd is June 22nd--but that is going by the first day of my last period. I am so happy for us June mammas and I love how nice everyone is on this board!

So do any of you mamas bleed after s*x? I do sometimes and I hate it-- it makes me so nervous, even though I know bleeding without cramping usually doesn't mean anything. I bled a lot with my first two. :yuck: I just hate this feeling of worrying. I can't wait for this stinkin' first trimester to be over. Those first kicks are so reassuring.
