So I just went through all my old maternity clothes. And I realized I had some really cute stuff. I was all excited to see it until I realized my new baby is due a whole 3 months before my DS was born. So a lot of the sizes and items won't go with the seasons. I am almost tempted to start wearing the small summer stuff so at least I'll be able to wear it again. I'm crazy!
Just thought I would share since nobody knows I'm :preggo: and I can't call and ask a friend if it's too early (since I'm not showing even a tiny bit) to wear maternity clothes. :giggle2:

No I'm due in June. My 1st son was due in September. That's why the seasons won't match up with my sizes. Well, That and I gained 60 lbs with my first.

I've had 3 pregnancies... one due Aug 31st, Aug 18 & Sept 3rd... I have TONS of maternity clothes & DH has said my budget is ZERO this time... what's a girl to do?! Well, luckily, I'm in FL & my b-day's in Feb, I'll just ask for gift cert.'s or mat. clothes for presents. I need cute winter clothes... here in FL, even when it's not that cold, we still dress the part! Ha ha... ;o)

I'll have to buy some for warm/hot weather. I'm in FL and all mine from DS are winter because I only needed maternity from November to early March. It'll be blazing hot here by May. I'm kind of excited to buy new stuff.:giggle2:

I sold all my maternity clothes right after having my last baby who is now 19 mos. They were for the warmer weather anyways. I only spent 2-3 months in cold weather when I was preggers then...and it was in CA...so not too cold to begin with. I'm going to have to start looking for some in about a month or so I'm thinking. This is my 4th pregnancy and it is showing. :yuck:

Not in your DDC, but you can make summer maternity clothes work in winter by just wearing a shrug or cardigan unbuttoned over tank tops, leggings under skirts/dresses, that sort of thing. I did this at the beginning of my pregnancy when it wasn't warm enough to wear my summer maternity, cuz I didn't want to buy any winter maternity considering I wouldn't be wearing it much.

I have a ton of maternity clothes from my first two, almost all of which I just adore, but I have just gotten bigger and bigger with each pregnancy and the ones I wore for my first are NOT going to fit this time, and the ones I bought for the end of my pregnancy with my second are fitting NOW...ugh. So, I have a feeling some new maternity clothes are in my future.
I am already wearing my maternity jeans..my only preggo purchase as of yet.

I once heard a funny expression that goes along with this convo...
With #1 you start weraing maternity clothes as soon as you get a BFP
With #2 you start when you absolutly have to
With #3 and on.. your still wearing them from the last time.
Boy is it true. With my first I was in a maternity outfit a month into the pregnancy. Just because I wanted to. Now I am dreading getting out that box. Which I know isnt going to fit and the seasons are going to be all off...
