My 8-month-old is cutting at least 3 teeth that I can see. He starts screaming during bottle feedings out of the combination of hunger and pain. I'm worried about dehydration - what can I do to help him get enough?

did you try to do some pain relief before feeding?

I'd give him some Hyland's teething tablets or some sort of pain relief before eating.
My daughter is teething right now and I find that I absolutely have to give her something BEFORE or she just won't eat or she'll try to eat and when she bites down, she just SCREAMS. :(

my 9 month old LOVES ice cubes in her babysafe feeder. i give them to her before giving her solids or nursing her to numb her up so she can eat(yeah it's a teensy bit shocking for me!).:roflmbo:

I do Hyland's and have tried Tylenol 20-30 minutes before bottle time but it doesn't seem to help. He's eating less solids/cereal than usual, otherwise I'd try to spoon-feed him more.
