I know some of us on DS have met IRL but I thought it would be fun to have a "Girl's Night Out" for all local south-central Alaskan ladies. Just an opportunity to meet a bunch of other women and make new friends. And bring a friend or two with you! The more the merrier!

Found an awesome place! It's a new cafe/bakery in Palmer called the Red Beet! (BTW thier baked goods rock! Especially the homemade breads. They even do gluten free!)
Friday November 14th 5-8pm

So far we have Body Shop, Partylite candles, and Brown Bag parties. Also several WAHMs!

The date is set, please feel free to post this in any other Alaskan womens groups you belong to!
I have posted this in several Alaska groups on Cafemom as well. Hopefully we can all have a fun time out visiting with other ladies. :lostit: A big turn out would really rock! So tell your friends and get people interested.

Sounds like fun to me. Personally, I like the idea of maybe just going out for dinner somewhere -- leave all the other stuff at home. Just moms and nursing babies. As for a night, I don't know. With working evenings, it just depends. So, if there is enough interest, pick a night and I'll try to be there.

Well, I'd be up for something. My schedule is pretty busy in the evenings with church events. Monday thru Wednesday are definately not good for me. If its scheduled far enough out, I can try to make it work for a Thursday or Friday.
I live in South Anchorage, that makes it even more interesting.
I'll keep checking back to see what others say.

This is another reason I hate living on an island!!! The flights from Kodiak to anywhere are ridiculously expensive....Enjoy the get together ladies! Wish I could fly over!
