Drs. App. Question????

So I went to my Drs. yesterday adn i just had a few questions.

Sept. 27th was my first BFP. Took on earlier in the week and nothing. Sept. 29th went to the Drs. actually for something else but knew by then about being pregnant. Dr. drew blood for hormone levels which where at 89mil. which i guess is good seeing as thought i just got my BFP. did an ultrasound and said there wasnt anything in there ofcourse but that you could tell my body was gearing up. He said come back in two weeks for an ultrasound. I have pcos so not due date due to no AF. So i went in yesterday and he did a vaginal and said that there was a sack and you could see a little spot in there, he is guessing around 6 weeks. Said everything was great and didnt even redo my hormone levels. It worries me because with my last i was 51/2 weeks with her ultrasound and you could see so much more, however it was in radiology not the drs. office. He said that i needed to come back in two weeks to see if we could measure the baby for a due date. It just seems like we should have been able to get a due date by now. Am i just loosing it? the machine that was using was ancient, could that contribute? I feel very pregnant already, but having a hard time enjoying the m/s and headaches :giggle2:. Have any of you had an ultrasound at 6 weeks and had a hard time seeing and/or measuring the baby. He reassured me all was well. I dont know I must be loosing it. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

The old machine could definitely contribute to the difference in u/s, plus there is always room for human error with measurements. Ultrasound techs also do u/s all day long whereas doctors don't so they get more day to day practice. I wouldn't stress it, just go back in 2 weeks. I bet things are okay!

I didn't hve any idea how far along I was when I had my ultrasound and they could see a sac that measured about 3 mm nothing else..they guestimated me to be about 4 weeks?! I have to go back on teh 29th and I shoudl be almost 7 weeks then. She was explaining how they liek to wait until 7 week sb/c you shoudl see a h/b by then..6 weeks maybe but maybe no

I had an u/s with my ds at 6 weeks and they could meassure, but it was on a brand new u/s machine. I wouldn't worry about it...every pregnancy is different! Just keep being sick and knowing that there is a direct correlations between m/s and a healthy pregnancy (my doc told me that)!!

I feel so jipped!! I had one ultrasound with ds at 22 weeks. And I can almost guarantee that I won't get one with this pg till about the same time. My doc just doesnt send me for them I don't even think he has that machine in his office.

My first doc appt. is tomorrow, so i will be sure to ask/mention the us early thing.

THanks ladies, I am assuming with my miscarriage history he would not take any chances. With my last he was very concearned but doesnt seem to be this go round. No bleeding or cramping so that is a good sign.
