Which brand did you get and was it worth the money? What should I look for?

I have a BuggyBagg. http://www.buggybaggs.com/

They are more expensive, but they are WORTH it. It covers the entire cart, zips up into itself, comes with a pillow for when they are smaller, and we are still loving it at 21 months. It is made from sturdy thick denim fabric on the outside and big zippers. I love that there are 2 big pockets to store wipes and toys in, so that you can rotate out the toys if the grocery store is taking a long time. I would definitely buy it again.

I have an Infantino one, and I wish I had gotten one of the WAHM ones, like Debs Cart Covers, or whatever they're called, I can't think of the name off the top of my head. The Infantino one's just don't fit on the cart or highchair right at all.

Are they something that's a pain to drag around with you?

I bought one, used it once, and then got rid of it. I'm not a germ freak, so that didn't bother me, I just did it for softness, and it was a PITB to carry around. I just used a blanket.

I like it because DD sucks on the cart seat bars. I had stopped using it at about 17 months, thinking she was old enough not to use it, and she cut her mouth on a cart. It is also nice to have one with a seat belt in restaurants because the seat belts on hgh chairs are often broken.

i just got one at target -- an eddie bauer one. i like it - it folds into itself as well. has loops to put toys on and a zippered pocket for your wallet and keys or whatever. i am a bit of a germ freak when it comes to public things like carts and highchairs so i like it...

Is there an advantage to getting one made or are the ones in the store about the same?

They seem so expensive for what they are.

I have this one from etsy-

I like the wham made ones that have more fluff to them, plus the cute fabric. They also come in a reusable shopping bag. I just store it in the bag in the back of my suburban next to my other bag of reusable bags. I grab both bags, head into the store and put it on once we get inside. No hassles and Ive got an extra bag, esp easy for when I only need one bag. DS has gotten to the stage where he doesn't want to be worn all the time, he loves sitting in his comfy rad cart cover. I didn't mind spending much $$ on it since the resale value. I had a cow print cover custom made for DS1 when he was little and auctioned it used on eBay for just over what I paid for it :)

We totally love ours. I wash it if needed, but normally I just throw it in the back of the explorer with my bags and cooler bags. I got a floppy seat at a great price before ds was born.

We use a floppy too. I like it cause it covers everything, and it has it's own seat belt. I bought it 2nd hand at a great price.

I also have a floppy seat! You can get them at Babies R Us.. The newer ones have a pouch you can fold them into, very nice... I got mine about 5 yrs ago before there was a storage pouch. I'm hoping I can't find it, when I need it again, so I can buy the newer style :giggle2: I think they have a nice amount of padding too....

I didn't think it was a pita, but it just lived in the backseat of my van, so it was there when I needed it.. If I was a more organized person, I may have stored it in the hall closet and grabbed it on the way out the door if I was going to need it...

Love our shopping cart cover ( I think its a Floppy Seat). I keep it in the trunk so I just grab it when I need it and it folds into itself so it does not take up much room. DS loves it too...he looks at me like im crazy when I put him in a shopping cart without it.

I've been looking and I don't think I can get a floppy seat here in Canada. They look fantastic!

I don't have one, but they look great (good price too!)! I have a full size cart cover, and it's very nice but a bit of a pain to carry around.

This is where I got mine too. We loooove it. Way cuter than ones I've found in the store and I love the belt cover and the hanging pocket in front. As far as a pain to carry, well, we just keep it in the car and grab it if we need it.

YES! She's super sweet! Me & my friend just ordered ours from her. My son still hasn't riden in a shopping cart, but I think it's almost time because he's climbing out of the babyhawk.

Mine was a gift - floppy seat from BRU. It's not a pain, I keep it in the car and use it at the grocery and restauraunts. I've read that babies can pick up staph infections from shopping carts. (and since I've seen people come out of the restrooms without washing hands, I believe it!!) So I wipe it down and put the cover over it. He's very comfortable in it. He's 2yrs old and I still use it. I'm always getting compliments about it - everyone thinks it's a great idea!

we love ours. My mom bought from a WAHM covers the whole cart and comes with a pillow(although we lost that) We are still using it on the 2nd kid and will use it on the third. It folds up into a bag.

I just got the one at Target. I LOVE it because it covers the whole seat part of the cart- even where I put my hands! And I'm a total germophobe so just thinking about whose hands have been on the handles gives me the willies... I also wrap it up so that I only touch the part DD sits in and keep it in the trunk.

Yes I have this one too. I kept it in the bag in the trunk. I remember to put it on because I would try and park by a cart and load DS right into it from the car. I loved the pocket because I could hide my list and cellphone in there. He loves both of those things. HTH.

they used to have one with shoulder harnesses but my friend told me they don't make 'em anymore (does Debsbuggycovers come with that? can't tell from the pics on the website). the floppy's good 'cept i'd like one with a shoulder harness to keep him in better.

I'm going to be honest.. i researched on here and was super psyched to go out and get a cover... and it got used for maybe a week. It's still sitting here waiting for someone to buy it (I have it up on our local for-sale website... all people interested never seem to follow through)
We got the Jolly Jumper one

Canadian Maple.
I have a Buggy Bagg that I am trying to sell. I'm not sure what shipping would be to Canada but I'd like to sell it for $50 or so but I'm somewhat flex on the price. I have pics if you are interested.

BTW, I have not used this one but it was used by another momma I know.
