Ugh..I woke up TWICE last night to go to the bathroom. I have such a hard time believing my uterus is heavy enough to make me go that much...must be the hormones. Anyone else being woken up to go potty? And yes..I said potty..I'm a parent. :giggle:

I have been waking up too, once maybe twice a night. I have such a hard time going back to sleep. I wish I could hold it all night!

Happening here too. Usually just once, but not PG I *never* wake up to pee. I also cannot fall back asleep afterwards. So it's double bad.

YES! It seems every symptom that occured a little later with #1 is happening already. I am "pottying" during the night , my bbs are already almost a size bigger, and the m/s is all day sickness!! I am only 4 weeks tomorrow! I swore I at least got to 6-7 weeks before all of this kicked in before!

Not up in the middle of the night but I pee all day, I'm sure it's coming soon. It's your body reacting to the hormones, I think the progesterone is what does it because it relaxes smooth muscle, which includes the bladder.

Me too, me too! I never have to wake up to pee, but last night is the first night in a couple weeks that I haven't had to get up. I guess I was just that exhausted last night. My husband doesn't seem to believe that all my symptoms could begin this fast, but I see reading here that they sure can. He says it's all in my head because I know I'm pregnant and I know what happened last time.

ever since my first pregnancy in 06-07 I have always had to pee in the middle of the night at least once. Once we are all down having kids, I am gonna look into seeing if I need to have some type of surgery to correct this problem, cause it is not normal, unless pregnant.

I've never noticed this symptom with any of my pregnancies?
I pee a lot to begin with because I drink a lot, prone to UTI's.
But I'm sure if I did have to pee at night, I'd wet all over my DH and our bed because I sleep like a rock now.

Only if I get woken up by DH or DS. Which is usually every night.:giggle2: So yes!

Oh yes, I have ALWAYS pee'd a lot and my parents actually took me to the dr. about it when I was younger and there's nothing wrong some people just pee more than others, but when I'm preggo it's like almost every hour some nights. Most nights for me now I get up to pee I would guess around 5 (yes I said 5) times, but it's easy for me to go back to sleep because I guess I'm used to it!

My husband is the same way--he thinks that it is way to early for me to have any symptoms and that I should contiue to do everything. I will be 5 weeks tomorrow and he doesn't understand why I am so tired--meanwhile I am running after our 13 month old. And I am peeing like every two hours--even at night and even when I try to restrick how much I drink before bed. Oh well, I am blessed to be pregnant.

Oo me, me! I thought I was all alone in my weird late-night pee trips already! This wasn't a problem at all with my first until about 32 weeks! So weird. DH says it must be quintuplets. :thud: At least that would solve the problem of what to get our close friends for Christmas this year. :giggle2:
