Twins huh Tara?! When did you find out?

I just found out on Weds. I went for my 1st doc appt and she said I was measuring small(HUH?) and they wanted to do an ultrasound asap so I ended up with an appt that night for one. And the first thing the tech says to me is "I have a suprise" and I just knew what she was going to say. My whole family has been joking saying I was going to have twins and sure enough, haha!

Nice! I'd love that kind of surprise..even though it would most certainly throw my home birthing for a loop..haha..

Went to the dr. today and all is well with the baby...they are saying June 19th for my official due date and June 3rd for my scheduled c-section (to be actually scheduled at a later date)...good to hear all is well with this baby. DH actually called his parents on the way home to tell them and we are waiting until we see my parents in person to tell them (I think)...we wanted to wait to hear all was well before sharing the good news so now the time has come...wish us luck!

I just had my first appointment (early because of our two m/c this year already). The doctor says probably June 29, not 30, for my EDD. She wants an early ultrasound too, which will be first week of Dec, probably, as we're going to Australia for 3.5 weeks in November. :) Starts to feel more real!

I have a daughter who turns 4 Friday, and another daughter who turned exactly 2 1/2 on Nov. 1st. My first was a foot first breech home birth that was awesome, and the second was normal presentation (head first) and over 9 lbs., also at home (and fast!). Home birthing is the way to go, 'cuz they don't mess with the proven successful process and cause problems!

I might need to pick your brain if the wee one doesn't flip soon since I am very sure I wanna birth home this time. I was planning on it the last tiem around as well but because of legislations where I live and the fact that it was a vbac I birthed in a hospital.

Hi ladies! I'm due June 9th, but we won't make it that far due to me being high risk having to be on blood thinner. We were also diagnosed with placenta previa at out "big" ultrasound...we go for a follow-up to see if the placenta has moved up on Wednesday. If it hasn't the doctor will schedule a c-section for around 38 weeks...sooner if things start happening that could put me at risk for hemorrhaging.
