Silly Question.

DF and I have been TTC our first child together since July 2007.

That isn't the question. My question is, when I say what number child I am trying for, I always say number 2. However, I've been thinking about it, and really we are TTC OUR number 1, and my number 2. So, what would should I consider myself on message boards?

I mean, I've seen a lot of boards with TTC#1 groups, and then TTC#2+... and, on the 2+ boards, I can't help but feel like, I am still an outsider, because we are still TTC our first together, yet it would be my second... :headscratch: Does any of this make sense? Lol. :giggle2:

I think it depends on how you all see yourself as a family. If your SO considers your dd as his own then you are TTC #2, but if not then it's TTC#1 for you all. At least, that's how i look at it.

I would say TTC #2 but maybe that’s because I am TTC #1. To me there is a very big difference between never conceiving and conceiving for the second time with someone else, it's still the second time conceiving for you, KWIM? I do get where you’re coming from though, cause it’s his first.

I agree with Jaime. If your SO looks at your LO as his own then it's your second
