Hi mamas,
My BFF moved to Lyon a few months ago. She and DH are expecting #1 in March and she is looking for English-speaking moms to help her figure out the system and the culture. In particular she's having a hard time finding English-speaking childbirth classes and English-speaking parenting groups. She's fairly crunchy (although isn't sure she can logistically do things like CD, which is why she's not on this website asking this for herself yet) and has found the French not to be too keen on crunchy Californians. For instance, she's been getting a hard time by the locals because she and DH live in a 1 bdrm apartment and have no plans to move when the baby comes. And, she's getting a lot of flack for asking about natural childbirthing. Can anyone advise? :goodvibes:
