Today was my first appointment. I love my doctor, which is good since I don't want a hospital birth to begin with. I got an U/S too...I was so excited and in shock, I've never gotten one at the first "pick and prod" appointment.
heart beat was 169 BPM
and the little arms were flying everywhere...it was very cute but weird..since baby resembles a chicken right now. :giggle2:
:lostit: SO cute! You can totally see the baby! I'm used to 1st ultrasounds being just a tiny blob. How far along are you?

According to my LMP I am 8 weeks 5 days...but "stumpy" was measuring at 9 weeks..doctor said we'll keep it at my LMP unless baby continues to measure bigger.

Yay! I'll be 8 weeks 2 days when I get mine, so I'll probably see a little chicken too. LOL at Stumpy. I've got to think of a nick name for my bean too-- I was waiting to see the heartbeat first.

Yay! So cute.. I had mine today.. I am 7 weeks 2 days and you could see arm/legs but not really any movement. Adorable!

I had one at 6.5 weeks because I was bleeding. Other than that my OB didnt even want to see me until tomorrow. The baby looked like a yolk sac, that was about it, not much to look at yet but I think I have another u/s Nov 4. ooooh I hope they can do it externally b/c that wand sucks!

They did this one externally and had no problem finding the baby. I know about the wand, I've only experienced it once when I was miscarrying in the hospital ER...they put a condom on it...I was like WTH???? I didn't sign up for a ****0!!!:giggle:
