Be interested in a thread kind of like the ATTS thread? Just a place where we can vent to each other about the hardships that TTC brings when it takes longer than expected. Without holding back, because I know I tend to steer clear of how I really feel about TTC, because I don't want to drag down the ATTS thread... And I just feel like I don't get the right kind of support there.
I know, for me... It's kinda hard to read through the threads. I know TTC is rough any part of the journey, but as far as I am in my journey, I just don't feel the desire to hear people be such downers after only 2 months.

I think it would be a good idea but how would it work exactly? Would it be a daily thread like ATTS or just an ongoing thread? I'm not sure there are enough of us for daily but I personally think ongoing threads get confusing after a while. Maybe a weekly thread? I don't know but I do think we need something. I feel the same about the ATTS, it's a great group of women but I feel like if I were to post how I am feeling today I'd be bring everyone down. I still feel like I want to talk about it, I just don’t know where to do it. Plus I'm just not sure I'm comfortable venting about the things I'm dealing with with just anyone, KWIM? Kind of like how we have the TTC #1 thread, its just different for us who have never conceived and it’s nice to talk to others in the same place.

I think a weekly thread would be great!

Yay! Interest!
I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for a title? I'd definitely do a weekly thread.
I was thinking along the lines of "The Road [or Journey] to Conception" ...

I like it! I think I like Journey to Conception, slightly better than Road... but either one is great

Count me in! I like Journey to conception as well. I have never even bothered to get involved in the ATTS thread. Too fast moving for me and I hate to be a downer. :D

Oh, I'm excited! I tried really hard to keep up with the ATTS the past few week but I just couldn't do it  it seems like a lot of people just joined in the past few days too, only making it that much busier. Maybe this will help them out too, since we are kind of dividing it up!
Ashley are you going to do some kind of first post thing like they do on ATTS? With everyone’s stats and such, maybe different stats since it seems we are all on a slightly different journey then they are but something similar? Also with all the sensitivity lately maybe there should be something added (or maybe even a sticky about it) telling people what it is and what it's about and maybe setting up limits as to who can join, since it is in S&S? Just a few thoughts :goodvibes:

I was kinda thinking of making it like ATTS... But, then I realized, I don't like being reminded of how long I stay on a list and watch someone move on. It's a happy time, yea. Every single Buddha Belly on that list, I have watched them move. And, that is not an easy thing to take in. I haven't quite thought about how I would do this yet either. But, I think maybe a Q&A about us would be good to post, or maybe just a list of who's who or what not. I do, however, think that aside from introducing ourselves, children should be mentioned cautiously, and that BFPs should be celebrated of course, but maybe posted in the TTC portion of the board... Anyone else? :headscratch:
I'm open to any and all suggestions you have! I want to make this new thread as welcoming and enjoyable as it can possibly get.:goodvibes:

I understand the sensitivity about the Buddha bellies but I personally think it would be different in our thread because we are all struggling, so a pregnancy from any of us is kind of like a miracle and something that would give others a little reminder of hope that it is not impossible. It's not like some random person who just pops in and then next week is on the Buddha bellies list. Just my :2cents: I'm fine either way, I just really like being reminded of others that have struggled but succeded!

Yeah i think some kind of list would be awesome! Maybe even something for upcoming, tests, or prodedures. And I agree the these kind of Buddah Bellies are inspiring. It's a good reminder that even though we all may be facing struggles, that miracles still do happen :goodvibes:

I just joined the ATTS a couple of weeks ago, but I would like to be/lurk on this one too, if that's alright.

Stacey, I often feel that TTC is more scary than joyful for me. Getting a ++ just doesn't = happy to me, it equals "maybe cautiously optimistic, hoping for the best." I wish I didn't feel that way about it, but it's hard not to!

Thanks for sharing that Rose. It helps to know I am normal and have normal feelings. It just sucks that the joy gets sucked out of it for so many of us. :(
And I totally get what ya mean about getting a + hpt...I am the same way.
I'll get one and it's all excitement and joy for the first 5-10 minutes and then the worry, stress, and sheer panic sets in. I don't relax until the first trimester is over. Everytime I have to use the restroom is like torture....have to study the tp.
