DD turned 2.5 last week and I am pregnant (due in April). She has been steadily cutting down her nursing from about 5 times a day when I first got pg to about once a week now. She went down to once a day and stayed there for a while, but then started skipping days, and then skipping two days, to where she then skipped a whole week before nursing. Now she's just gone more than a week, and I wonder if/when she will ask again. So my question is, how long do they go without nursing before you really feel safe calling them weaned?
